Double standard room was quite spacious and clean. Affordable price.

Very friendly service, perfectly adequate room (but no desk and chair if you plan on working) in centre of quiet Fakenham. Room and sheets were clean. no shampoo was provided - might have just been oversight; I picked up a small bottle in Tesco nearby. Sat night was a bit raucous, with a heavy metal band in the bar, but all the local aficianados, dressed up to the nines, in the bar were very friendly. Bar staff super efficient. I didn't eat on the premises (breakfast provided in the room), but had a good evening meal nearby in the Red Lion.

3 of us stayed for one Saturday night as part of a longer cycling trip. The staff were helpful and the place was value for money - a bit industrial but it was fairly cheap so that's a quibble & the bathroom was clean with a nice shower. I don't remember any warning of live music though and there was an 80's style metal band playing until 12ish followed by an hours karaoke which was very loud in the rooms so if this is an issue for you I wodl check about music before you book.

Position in town good very cold but old building and December Plenty hot water and cereal and fresh milk in room

There was a small issue that our room lock wasn't working, I was concerned that the door wasn't secure enough, but this was kindly rectified quite quickly but everything else was fine.

Good value accommodation ini a lovely part of the country. Very convenient for Fakenham racecourse.

Room very spacious, fridge very handy, plenty of tea, coffee and cereals. All set in a lovely part of Norfolk.

Reasonable accommodation for one night

The landlord and lady, were very welcoming friendly and helpful. I was able to check in early, which was a great help. The room was large, clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. It had a small fridge for milk, plus tea and coffee. There was also fruit juice and cereals, so breakfast in my room which suited me fine. The bathroom was down the short hallway with a separate toilet. Both were very clean and tidy. All in all I enjoyed my stay
