Mercury Apart Hotel

The area and the hotel really feels like you are in another country. If you imagine you are in Cuba then the hotel is as expected. However, considering that this is a hotel in America, it is like an old 2 star hotel.

Very bad Maintanance in the building and the answer of the sulfur horrible

Dirty place with roaches and management doesn't even respond any request...

We rent 2 rooms for 2 families, there was one room that was upgraded but with some roaches included around and the other one was super disgusting with moods, dusty stink like someone pee on it and the manager left us waiting for almost 2 hours with not solutions and since we had already paid $100 for parking we had to stay and live the worst experience hotel in our life... please people stay away from this Hotel...

Property was nice and clean front desk was helpful and funny I enjoyed my stay and would do it all over again.

Nice up grade for $45 extra each night

A bit dirty, fixtures not all working.

Such a cute property! We had a two story apt-hotel with a private balcony. The location was perfect: within walking distance of the fun spots but nestled away in a quite area. There was a great pizza bistro and tea lounge located in the property.

I would not recommend staying here. The location is good but the room was terrible. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. The first issue was actually getting into the room itself. The door did not fit correctly into the frame and was extremely difficult to open as it would stick to the frame. It had previously been damaged by this issue as you could clearly see where it had been repaired. My husband had to literally’ hip and shoulder’ the door to open it (I was unable to open it). The apartment was in desperate need of a refurbishment. The furniture was old and stained and there were food splatters on the lamp and curtains in the bedroom. The curtains were filthy. The safe did not work and no action was taken by management to fix or replace this when we requested this. We had a lot of trouble with getting the toilet to flush often having to jiggle the lever for a lengthy time. There were barely any kitchen items to prepare meals and those that were there were stained. There was as no kitchen bin, tea towel or chopping board. The hot water tap could not be turned off properly at the sink. The apartment was extremely noisy with a generator running for hours each night (after 1 am some nights) somewhere close by (it was so close that it also caused our windows to rattle) At least the generator usually drowned out the street noise! There was no hairdryer as advertised and we ended up sharing one hairdryer between 4 apartments (we were traveling with a group of friends and no rooms had a hairdryer- management found one in another room - saying they were continually being stolen). The communal laundry was disgusting with 2 of the washers full of fetid water. I would also not suggest storing your luggage as it was just left in the unsecured reception area. The pictures on the website do not represent the actual rooms. None of the rooms (4 in total) we stayed in as a group had a working safe and the other 3 rooms all had issues including door locks not working and excessive noise.

In the description this hotel mentioned a gym but there wasn't a gym. Hotel had no ice and no phone in the room ( just would had use to call the front desk). When asked for extra towel I was given colorful towels what happened to the traditional white towels. The dish detergent had water in it Palmolive isn't suppose to be watery. The room was nice we had the penthouse but expect to see the downside to this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again
