Sirata Beach Resort St Pete Beach

Susie the server by the pool was the best! Friendly service and always with a smile! She made our time worth it. Thank you Sirata!

Resort was well staffed, didn’t wait long for any thing we asked for.

Mark was amazing, very helpful and informative. Although there is construction going on from the unfortunate switch in hotels Mark reassured our stay would be a good time.

Staff was excellent, facility was clean and very nice. Balcony room with beach view was awesome and very comfortable. Good location on St Pete Beach.

No real negatives. It would have been convenient to have another nice restaurant on site, and I believe there is one under construction. Rum Runners pool side bar and grill was good, but a construction barrier blocked any view of the beach while dining. It was really the only minor negative of the trip, and probably not worth mentioning.

We had a delightful time at Sirata. Our room was well appointed and perfect for my dad who has physical limitations. Every day we were at the pool, AnnMarie was a fabulous and kind professional. She made sure my dad had a firm pool chair to make it easier for him to get up and down. She is fabulous! We had stayed here once over 20 years ago! It was fine then but now the enhancements - decor, restaurants, staff, etc make this a place my parents want to return to frequently!

Our room was beautiful. Very clean and great view. However the hotel is under a large amount of construction. Keep that in mind while booking. The beach is clean and very spacious perfect for morning and sunset walks

The vacation experience at the Sirata was amazing. My home away from home on the beach, all the traditions amenities and ambiance of the resort were in check.

I had doubts based on other reviews. We had a bit of a rough check in and I was afraid that the bad reviews were were warnings I should have taken seriously. However, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and took care to make sure our stay smoothed out. (Thank you, Megan and Shelly!) St Pete Beach is an awesome place to begin with and this place sits right in the middle of it. It was a 5 minute walk to to restaurants up the beach. The room was great. Roomy, cool and accomodating. Microwave, toaster, fridge and dishes all supplied. The staff helpful and friendly.

Parking sucks. There is just no space up that strip and for a place this big, there is no room for all the cars. A parking fee is ridiculous to add on when guests already pay to be there. If you want to charge visitors to the property (non guests there for the restaurants or to avoid beach parking) that's one thing, but guests have no choice but to park there and have already paid for that privilege. The resort fee I kind of understand. The towels and pool maintenance alone must call for that. The food on the property was minimal and very expensive. What we had was "ok" for the most part, but not worth the price. ($88 plus $20 tip for 2 regular sandwiches, fries and 3 drinks - other entre' items were double or triple that) The room was pretty clean on the surface, but walking without shoes left feet/socks black and dirty and the lobby smells of mold. This is not the kind of place that you book to just sleep for a night. It isn't a "beach motel." It is fronted as a resort and then split on whether they want to target "nice stay" vs family fun. You really can't have both and cover all the details without issues.
