Plas Penaeldroch Manor

Loved having a suite and 2 bathrooms. Very dog friendly. Extremely comfortable and relaxed. Owners are friendly and accomadating.

We only stayed for one night as a family of 6. Mick was there to welcome us as we arrived. Our suite was lovely clean and looked cosy. The rooms had lovely views across the river. There is a lot of noise from the river which is slightly lessoned by shutting the windows, but i found it soothing and its easy to tune out. There was complimentary fruit and sweets wating for us, which thrilled the kids. There were clear instructions on how to use everything. There is intersting pictures and art around the building and there is a folder showing all the removations done on the property. Breakfast was satisfying and more than enough with Mick and Carrie on hand to make things as smooth as possible. They were also very helpful with advice about food places and ppaces to visit. Overall it was an excellent stay. I only wished we stayed longer. The only suggestion i have for mick and carrie would be to make the double bed have the attached ensuite rather than the twin beds. We stayed at the property for 3 days and loved it. Mike and Carrie who own this property are a fabulous host and they made sure our stay is fully comfortable. My boys loved it when they chocolates on the day we were climbing the Snowdon mountain. The property is situated at a very good location not far from Betws-y-coed and the great part is Mike and Carrie have so well maintained the original character of this manor. We 100% recommend staying at this place.

Very friendly people. Room was a good size and clean. Loved all the little touches in the room - snacks, hot drinks, toiletries in rooms (if needed), so many things they thought of everything - even binoculars to enjoy the view from the window. Good variety at breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Just being picky but the washing powder on the bedding was quite strong.

Picturesque location. Really helpful, friendly hosts. Good location for visiting key sights and places in Snowdonia. The apartment was very clean and well presented. Good breakfasts.

People can make a place, the hotel owners make this place what it is. They made us feel extremely welcomed, and the story of the hotel became part of our adventure. Thank you for the stay.

As ever, excellent stay here with the amazing hosts. We have come back here three times since we first discovered the hotel and have loved it each time.
