Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villas & Spa

Was expecting so much more as this was our 5th trip to Sharm for some winter sun. The rooms were lovely, bed very comfortable. Beach was amazing 10/10 Where it went wrong - check in very quick 👍🏼 given room number and told bags were to be sent. Asked where rooms were and was pointed to the elevator and told go down, turn right... Blah, blah. It's a HUGE resort, we got lost. Found our rooms and went exploring, returned to desk and asked if there was a hotel floor plan, yes! Given a badly photocopied sheet that was unreadable 🫩 ok, it took us a few days to get familiar but would have really appreciated a better check in service! Food, underwhelming and unexciting - breakfast was the exception... Lovely omelettes/fried eggs made to order. The 'snacks' offered between meals were laughable... Burger and chips in a plastic box, pizza/kebab etc. no fresh salad. Meager offering of tub of fruit salad and a gaudy slice of cake. No fruit. Very different to what we've had in other resorts. What really prompted me to give 3 stars was the attitude of the staff. Hit and miss and the majority were MISS 😖 The main lobby staff were APPALLING!! Ahmed Nazr and Hamaad Saead desperately need some customer service training. We don't mind going to the bar to order drinks but saw others getting table service, we were honoured to have table service a few times but that's the crux of this... You were made to feel as if you were a chore. No smiles, surly attitude until BINGO the day before we left when they were probably expecting a big tip ( we tipped most times as thought it might improve the service!), where we got impeccable service. We asked for some bar nibbles and was literally handed a bag of crisps 😂 This was such a shame as some staff were absolutely lovely: Ibrahim Ashraf on the jetty absolute top guy ❤️ Mustafa - breakfast Miriam - pool bar Our cleaner room 103 Would we return, no. The Sheraton wasn't great and we have had better service and dining on all four previous visits.

Posizione molto bella sul mare.

Colazione, pranzo e cena sono monotone e basate sempre su pollo e piatti locali. I dolci sono di diverso colore ma con lo stesso sapore. I cocktail al bar in formula "all inclusive" sono di pessima qualità e composizione alcolica scadente, forse solo pagando si ottiene qualcosa di buono, forse... Le continue richieste di mance, forse caratteristiche in Egitto, sono un poco irritanti. La musica fortissima nelle ore di riposo (14,00 -16,00) non consentono relax pomeridiano. Insomma in generale ci vuole molto spirito di adattamento che forse non tutti hanno...e le lamentele nella clientela sono molte

Hotel wasn’t running at full capacity so a lot of parts were closed, pools etc. It was a little run down - nothing major, just like the lift was a bit dodgey and the sunbeds on the beach had seen better days, stuff like that. Staff couldn’t have done more for you, so friendly and helpful and if we ever had a problem in our room; aircon and smashed glass etc they were there to fix it rapid. Staff remembered your name and drink order etc and went out their way to be kind. Cleaner made a little towel display on the bed everyday which I enjoyed. However, I found the entertainment staff to be too much. I work long days back home, 6 days a week 12 hours a day sometimes and I came on this holiday to relax and they just would not give you a break from joining in their adult activities. I feel like this should be for kids club only, I don’t want three members of staff surrounding me while I’m trying to relax and read and I’m having to tell them no over 5 times to do mini olympics or pool sports. I didn’t enjoy it, it made me uncomfortable and it was relentless. At one point one of them asked my boyfriend “why he ever brought me on holiday?” Because I didn’t want to do mini Olympics on the beach. This holiday was meant to be a chance for me and my boyfriend to chill because we don’t get to at home and they didn’t seem to like that answer. Sometimes it’s ok to take people at their word and if they’re saying no, leave it there. Spa was great! Definitely need to go. Second massage I had was the best of my life. Food was ok! No complaints really. But snack bar was pretty rubbish and no free ice cream which most all inclusives had. Do not book taxi through hotel the cost is extortionate, use in drive and save yourself so much money. We booked the parasailing, banana boat and scuba diving through the hotel which was fun! But we booked all our other excursions through viator. Overall, I don’t think I’d come back to Sharm to be honest it’s not our usual type of place but if I did I don’t think it would be to this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks in November to December 2025, and enjoyed it so much that we booked another 4 week stay from 16th February to 16th March. The location is superb, with lots of lovely colourful fish to see just by paddling in the bays on the beach, and even more if you snorkel off the jetty. The Lifeguards were always there to help, thanks to Ibrahim and Carlos who always went 1 step further. The towel man always had a smile on his face, and a laugh with us (sorry, we didn’t get his name). The rooms are excellent, with beautiful views of the Red Sea and always kept clean by our cleaner Hossam Ahmed. The reception and lobby bar floor cleaner always had a great smile on his face, and a great sense of humour (sorry we didn’t get his name either). The food however, was not as good this time, and was cold on many occasions, but the Italian and Lebanese restaurants (which were al-a-carte) were excellent - special thanks to the waiters Abram and Rafik. Viola always greeted us with a smile at reception, and Aya (who worked on snacks sometimes) and the pasta station was also very pleasant. The bar staff in all of the bars were exceptional, special thanks to the beach bar staff - Emam, Ashraf and Mohammed, and the lobby bar staff - Hamada, Omar and Ahmed. We’ll definitely be back - loved it.

All in all, a great hotel experience. Very good location and amenities, a wonderful beach reef as good as anything you will see on an excursion. Food is good quality varied and fresh. A special thank you to Mostapha who tended to all our needs for lunch and dinner, and to Mahmoud who took care of our room everyday with a smile. In general, all the staff are helpful, polite and friendly, many have a lovely sense of humour too :-) No real criticism , maybe the baths that nobody uses could be replaced by a modern shower ? Would I go back ? Yes, no problem at all.
