Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Downtown by IHG

The staff was not friendly or inviting. The room was NOT CLEAN. The bathroom floor was atrocious. Balls of hair, crumbs, caked up dirt and remnants in the corners. The floor was not properly cleaned. Towel that didn’t look clean. What I liked: large room, big windows, street view, THE GUYS WORKING VALET 10000/10 Soooooo helpful and friendly. Went above and beyond. I will go out of my way to make sure the hotel knows how awesome they were.

Location was fine. The staff waas very friendly.

Needs to be refreshed. Sofa in room should have been removed a while ago. Toilet continously ran and had a round toilet seat on a oval toilet. It just needs to be attended to.

Sewage smell at the entrance. Cheap breakfast. Huge noise coming from the fan/ventilation in my room. Noises from other rooms...

Convenient

Good location but the hotel is very rundown.

The location is great when attending a concert at rocket arena. The breakfast was great.

The elevators and the lack of security, anyone can walk off the street and access the guest floors. The reservation desk is also in awkward place, when we first walked in we thought we were in the wrong place. Hallway is also dimly lit.

Close to everything. Very good breakfast with friendly staff. Comfortable beds.

Parking was tricky and the valet was not explained well by the staff and cost a lot more. The room was not cleaned every day but every other. This was not explained so we had some gross garbage we would have addressed differently if we would have known.

Staff is excellent, the property in the day was probably incredible. I would definitely stay again even though the cleansiness needs some love.Just book a night and have fun

It was an easy walk to the Rocket Center.
