Wingate by Wyndham JFK Airport/Far Rockaway

I enjoyed my stay. The beds were really comfortable during my stay and room was well cared for. My only complaint is a was unaware of the cash deposit needed for debit card payment so check was a little longer.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is knowingly performing illegal activity. They are knowingly falsely advertising amenities they do not provide, such as the airport shuttle. If you have stayed here during this period of false advertisement, contact they hotel and they’ll give you a pathetic half refund from them breaking the law. I have written proof that the ownership knows they’re falsely advertising, and Wyndham refuses to do anything about it. The ownership has put up signs to intimidate people from getting refunds due to their own illegal activity, but do not fall for it. The management here is awful, the location is awful, loud, and dangerous. But worst of all, they’re knowingly breaking the law, and everyone staying is protected by false advertisement laws by the NY Attorney General. Make of that what you will :)

The room in itself is very small but clean, the drink machines dont work, the vending machine has snacks from 1975. My biggest quarrel with this hotel is that there is no parking! So you are forced to walk blocks in the dark in a dangerous part of NY. Very unsafe, wouldnt recommend.

No parking spaces

I appreciated the staff. The hotel was acceptable on the inside. The only thing me and my family had an issue with was the location. This hotel is in Queens and it does not feel safe to walk around. There are people outside the hotel making noise and just messing around like kids. On top of that, the stores around it are horrible. The closest nice restaurant is 20 min away. Do not go there just because of the price, the location is an absolute nightmare. We were suppose to stay there two nights but ended up staying for one night only and then we got a hotel in Long beach.

This is not definitely near the airport and the front desk has no consideration in checking in minutes away from 3pm. 3pm is 3pm for them.lol. The toilet flush of the first room I had was not working and so with the cardkey. Hence, I won’t be going back to this place ever again.

The staff were friendly, but the property is I an unsafe area. I was shocked this was a Wyndham property.

This was a bad experience. Never again. I have repeated myself over and over again. The Neigh hood was bad. Un safe inside and out. No breakfast at $170.00 a day unheard of I paid for a room I was not in. My price should have been lower. In the end I just wanted to get out.

The hotel in general is in a good condition and due to its location near an airport and train perhaps a little louder as expected, but not disturbingly. The neighborhood of the hotel is that of a lower income suburb. The advantage of the location is that you are at the beach within 10 minutes. I would like to add that ALL employees - be it at the front desk or the service staff - were very friendly, courteous and professional at all times during my one week stay. When I entered the room it was cleaned well and when i asked to be moved to another room due to a loud room neighbor this was accommodated without question immediately. Thank you very much for a comfortable stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night, It’s a very nice hotel with friendly staff and a chill vibe. The parking lot is small but we got here around 5pm and was able to find a spot on the hotel grounds. Highly recommend this hotel it’s close to the beach and it’s wasn’t expensive for one night. I will be returning soon!!!
