The Golden Sands

This was my first solo holiday for over 30 years having lost my wife at the end of 2024. I was a little apprehensive before arriving but honestly could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is immaculately clean with great facilities and has the most friendly and happy staff. Breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant both exceptional. Location is amazing and St Brelade's Bay is absolutely stunning. Thank you for a lovely stay. It was the perfect, much needed tonic.

We haven’t been to the Goldensands for a couple of years. It was always lovely, but now it has had a bit of a make over, it is even more lovely. Friendly staff, can’t beat the location. We will be back!!!

Golden Sands is a very smart and comfortable 4 star hotel in a perfect beachside location. Fellow guests were a mixture of couples and families. It is decorated in a contemporary style with a cool blue and gold colour scheme and is spotlessly clean. We had a spacious room overlooking the carpark and hillside but would consider spending the extra money for a seaview room next time. The staff are welcoming and attentive. Breakfast choice is plentiful and the Tides restaurant has a good selection of delicious meals. There are other restaurants a few minutes away if you want a change in the evening. St. Brelades Bay is one of the prettiest on the island, perfect for all ages. There are nearby bus stops with a good Liberty bus system to take you across the island to all the main attractions. If you want to hire a car and explore the more remote bays they need to be picked up from the airport.

Friendly staff, comfortable stay , good food and plenty of choice always get a warm welcome and a follow up phone call if all is good .

excellent place, rooms well kept, very polite staff as well as being helpful, food is very tasty and hot. This hotel is only about 10 feet away from the beach, the beach itself is clean, but can be a bit weedy, very good for family. I would recommend

Hotel location and staff are great. The room was a big disappointment. We paid over £300 per night for a 4 night stay with the expectation that we would have a sea view room as is described in the marketing material. Our room over looked the car park and there is only a very small hotel lobby and little outside sitting space to eat and drink. We would have a better and cheaper experience staying somewhere else. I would not have booked if I had known we wouldn't have a sea view room. This seems dishonest and I feel pretty ripped off. Our bath room was very clean but also hilariously dated. I did appreciate the nostalgic 1990s decor as a trip down memory lane.

It was a great experience. Excellent customer service, beautiful beaches.

The staff reception staff are full of smiles and are helpful. The restaurant staff are always chirpy and very helpful. Mo Jo the assistant manager (new position for him) was very helpful as usual.

Great stay, location is perfect for beach, staff very friendly and attentive. Only downside is no hotel parking….we visited bank holiday weekend and it was really hot weather so obviously very busy. Not a huge issue, rest of stay was great.

I love this hotel. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The views across the bay are spectacular. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner one night in the restaurant which was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Jersey.
