The Golden Sands

We have had many enjoyable family holidays at The Golden Sands and it is always a pleasure to return. The bay provides a beautiful backdrop, whilst the staff make you feel very welcome and provide an excellent level of service. Dining at La Braise is a pleasurable experience with a relaxed and comfortable feel to the restaurant. There is a great selection of food and drinks to choose from and the catch of the day never disappoints. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a comfortable hotel with welcoming staff and tasty food and drinks, look no further! Would highly recommend.

This was the best hotel experience we have ever had. The Friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, quality of bedding , towels and furnishings, was exceptional. The thoughtful provision of a fan in the room was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent. The view from our sea view balcony room was amazing. Faultless.

Fantastic hotel right on the most amazing beach you will find anywhere, staff were friendly and attentive, we will be back.

We stayed for a week in July 2025 and occupied a 4th floor superior room with sea view and balcony on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was lovely, clean and spacious and was serviced every day. The breakfast was exceptional, so much so that we didn’t need anything to eat at lunchtime. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We ate 3 times in the restaurant and the food was really good. The other times when we ate out in the bay, the food wasn’t nearly as good and was similarly priced. The bay is really beautiful and the views from our balcony were stunning. We hope to return and can’t think of anywhere nicer to stay.

An exceptional stay in beautiful surroundings! The hotel accommodation was fabulous and every single member of staff could not do enough for you. The food was amazing, in particular the Sunday roasts and the breakfasts! We would certainly recommend this hotel in particular the sea view rooms and can’t wait to go back.

Lovely comfortable bed, pillows also comfortable, our stay was 3 nights and we slept so well. There is no fridge in the room which would have been nice. The Sea View room with balcony was lovely absolutely loved people watching and all the fun they were having, paddle boarders, canoeists, swimmers, even gymnasts etc. We had some nice weather and got sun beds on the beach just below our room! Perfect! We chatted to the cleaners a couple of times ( chose not to have our room cleaned ) they were so friendly . The one receptionist I spoke to personally was lovely. Bus stop really close to the hotel, really handy for island hopping! Only 15 minutes to/from airport. As always with hotels it’s hit and miss if they cater for anyone who is coeliac, so as usual my husband can have all the biscuits (I know it’s not a big deal for some but feeling included means everything) on the tea and coffee tray and nothing for me!! It’s not hard to buy in for the guests that have these requirements we pay the same amount for our bed & board. It just shows me which hotel we will be staying in when we come back to Jersey because I felt completely included there.

Our 2nd visit. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff super friendly, from catering to reception to cleaning. Lovely position on the seafront. Hotel was bright and clean and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended.

Simply the best, nothing too much trouble for all the staff, made you feel special, hotel and rooms spotless, food great, will accommodate families large and small in the restaurant, suits all ages, lounge areas lovely and peaceful, and nothing competes with the views, fantastic sea view rooms.

This hotel is so well situated right on a lovely beach (would recommend a sea view room) with bus stops right outside the door. Both the hotel and the area are very quiet. Breakfast is excellent.
