The Golden Sands

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location and amazing staff. Everyone and everything was perfect. I’ve stayed in many hotels across the world and the staff here are fantastic.

Waking to the sound of the sea and swimming before breakfast. Choosing to spend the day on the beach or easily access cultural sights and entertainment. Eating well and watching the sun go down from the patio bar.

A 4 day stay in this wonderful hotel. The staff are the happiest, most welcoming, kind, jolly, and smiliest folk I've ever met in a hotel or the hospitality industry. From the moment you step onto reception to housekeeping to restaurant.. such lovely people. Eunice, Kevin, Joe, and Chris, to name a few; are incredibly personable. I wish I could remember the name of all the amazing staff. The food is THE BEST I've ever eaten. Ate here every night on our stay. Totally recommend the Kerela curry. The portions are generous.The cocktails are refreshing and well worth it. Recommed the LB Naughty Affagato, which served as my pudding, as my tummy was full. The view is gorgeous. The rooms are small and clean. A little warm, even with doors open. The desk fan is a welcome relief.

Our second visit here and it won't be our last. The location and views cannot be bettered anywhere in the world. We had a sea view and balcony and went to sleep with the sound of the waves lapping against the shore. The bedroom was exceptionally clean and spacious, and the breakfast was great quality and a good variety. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, it is difficult to find fault with any part of our stay - other than it was too short! Well worth a visit but definitely have a sea view and balcony.

Brilliant location. Friendly staff. Good food....breakfasts are awesome!!! Great for families. Parking close by. Good Wi-Fi. Fab room and clean........I could not fault this hotel.............would recommend to anyone of any age.

I stayed at the Golden Sands Hotel three years running as a child and I had the most wonderful time. Since then I've been back to Jersey on three occasions, but the last time was in 2008 and this is the first time I was able to bring my daughters to the island. I've stayed at hotels in many different countries both for leisure and business and I would say that this was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had. You know you've had a fantastic time when you feel sad to come home and that's exactly how we feel now. That is down to the beauty of Jersey as a whole but also the hotel staff and the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Highly recommended!

Lovely comfortable stay & very friendly staff.

Just back from a week at this amazing hotel. I can not fault this place. Very accommodating and helpful arranging things for my daughter who has additional needs. Every single staff member we met was friendly, helpful and polite. The location of the hotel could not be any better, literally a few steps from a beautiful beach. Bus stops outside to go exploring in either direction, a couple of shops, and cafes & restaurants. The room was perfect for us as a family, beds v comfy! Breakfast was wonderful, had dinner twice and food was also delicious and service fast. We will definitely be returning one day! Thank you :)

We had a wonderful stay. A really top class hotel in the most perfect position on the sunshine isle of Jersey. A great hotel, a great team and we will be back!
