Bed did not have a cover. Multiple examples of uncleanness. A hole punched into the bathroom door. Functional door lock but damaged (could see daylight between lock and door jamb.

Room The room promised was a queen-sized bed. Did not get it bed. Was awful condition of room was terrible. was promised with a queen-sized bed. Things as simple as the shower curtain was too short made this stay inconvenient. Was advertised with breakfast only no ice

Motel is badly outdated. The first room assigned to us had a bathroom light that wouldnt turn off, an A/C unit that wouldnt turn off, no wastebasket, no coffeemaker, dinged up furniture, and smelled like smoke. When we got another room, it was only slightly better. This one had bugs crawling around in it, cigarette burns in sink, filthy shower soap holder and bathroom counter (there was someone's hair in the toilet!), no coffee. In a low rent district of Phoenix with some pretty seedy clientele. We couldn't wait to leave. They really need to start over on this one!

"Roach Motel - Stinks Badly"

Roach-motel! The room stunk very bad…normally I would have just canceled the stay then and there, but I was without a vehicle and it was late at night, so I didn’t have a choice but to stay. I wish I hadn’t…I went to bed right away, woke up at 2am to roaches crawling on the bed! They were also in the shower. Needless to say, I didn’t get back to sleep, I tried to sleep in a chair but to no avail. Left as soon as possible and got to a clean shower to wash the filth off.

It was terrific that place is terrible I'll never go there again I spent several years in jail and it was more pleasant than a couple of weeks I had to spend at the hometown suites

"HomeTowne Studios ripped us off"

We made the reservation and paid 2 weeks before the date. We called 3 hours before arriving at HomeTowne by Red Roof to confirm the reservation. When we arrived we were told that our reservations were canceled because we had made them through Hotels.com We still haven't received a refund for the "canceled" 3 nights.
