Hyatt House Herndon/Reston

Hotel is located near Reston Center, Metro, and even a good walking trail (Sugarland Run) ! While the property look a bit dated with older carpet floor and all, room itself has clean comfortable beds, and wonderfully spacious w/ sitting area & kitchen facility, WiFi good, Breakfast good ... all satisfying.

This is a good location just off the Fairfax Co. Parkway on a well traveled, yet quiet parkway. The parking lot is well lit as are the hallways. There are numerous eating establishments as well as 4 grocery stores and a Target store within a 10 minute drive on Elgin St. or Spring St. Since this is an extended stay with a full kitchen, you can save money on meals by eating in.

The breakfast is very good, but the maintenance is shabby. The carpet leaving the lobby has a threadbare seam and the carpet in the elevators is stained and worn. Our suite has 2' of duct tape on one window, a dented frig, 3 holes in the bathroom wall near the light switch, a dishwasher with a stuck rack and a worn-out office chair. I don't recommend this place.

The facility was clean but very beat up. Items in the room were broken. Breakfast was the standard "free" breakfast. The selection of snacks for sale at the front desk was very inadequate. For the price, I would not stay there again.

Nice big room with full fridge, microwave and seating area. Nice staff and good parking.

Breakfast could be improved. Shuttle within 3mi radius was a plus. Safe area. Very pleasant staff.

The room was spacious but definitely not new… everything seemed old. Some lights didn’t work, a fire alarm was missing from one of the rooms. The breakfast was one of the worst I have had at a hotel. Went and got coffee after we left in the morning and didn’t event attempt breakfast there on day 2.
