Property is very dated but clean.. parking charge expensive

Absolutely awful! It was so unclean! The walls were filthy, cobwebs in the corners, the room smelt like urine, there was sticky dried urine all over the floor under the toilet. The room was cold and noisy, the curtains had holes in, all round run down and in need of a major renovation. Other guests were also complaining about how unclean there room was as we arrived. When we were leaving the same girl cleaning the bedroom was also doing check out which doesn’t fill you with confidence that there is 1 member of staff doing everything, and probably explains why the rooms are not very clean. Dog hair all over the carpet too!

Paying for parking was shocking

Room not in great condition. Dirty bathroom. Only 3 thin pillows - asked for more but told there were no extras. There was no shower gel in dispenser. Only one towel provided for 3. Hotel smelled of cigarette smoke (although room was ok). No one on reception in the evening, no locked internal doors so didn't feel very secure. However beds comfortable, convenient location and cheap price!

Room was filthy. The tea caddy covered in dust, tea stains and sugar granules from the last guest. I stayed for 2 nights/3 days- no toilet roll top up or refreshments. Extractor fan is bathroom was broke, stains all up the walls of spilt beverages. Bathroom door did not close unless you slammed it as hard as you could (Which I would obviously not do at night time to avoid irritating other guests) Had to ask for toilet roll and tea/coffee etc

The hotel itself is in Heartshead Moor services and when you book and pay for the hotel they DON'T tell you there's a £15 DAILY CAR PARKING CHARGE - ON TOP of the room that you only find out about when you actually arrive at the reception desk. Apart from that the hotel itself was fairly clean with basic but clean amenities etc.

Seamless check-in with Luke who was friendly and accommodating. Room was unfortunately not quite ready, however Luke was professional and made the process moving to another room easy and stress free. Room is adequate for the price, remembering it is only £39 per night. Happy to stay here again if needed.

Really happy with my stay here staff were helpful with our bags as they don’t have a lift rooms really spacious clean and comfortable

Very well looked after by Luke, quick easy checkin and came through with some air freshener for the room. Free parking always a benefit too at Welcome Break. Room on the back side which is much quieter after a long drive on the motorways. Would definitely stay here again.

Be quite honest I have never stayed in one before quite impressed fresh towels comfy bed clean room clean linen close to the motorway connection good value for money a subway here waitrose Starbucks kfc burger king whsmith Krispy Kreme donuts
