Days Inn by Wyndham Michaelwood M5

What a delightful team here at Days Inn. The lovely manager, Sam greeted us on arrival. We were told there was a planned power outage, which had unfortunately overrun its planned time. This did not faze Sam, she allowed us to check our bags in and reassured us that normal service would resume. The hotel itself is a very welcoming place, simple but comfortable. There's a microwave and toaster in reception, which helps keep those service station prices down. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, a little stopover before our trip further south west. 10/10.

The outside could have been cleaner. I know the weather had been very hot, and all the greenery around the property looked shabby.

Not a very enjoyable stay. After arriving at 10pm there wasn’t enough duvets for our children so we had to go to reception to ask for another one. The room wasn’t very clean, there was no hand soap, 2 towels & 2 cups for 4 people, water still in the kettle & the fridge was mouldy. Also the bath was very slippery & my son slipped while showering & cut his head on the sink.

Arrived last minute with twins, 2 dogs (one on travel drugs and the other a bouncy 3 year old GSP). Staff Janey and Jay were amazing, made us feel really welcome and swapped to down stairs room and opened doors and carried babies! The hotel clearly needs an upgrade, which I think would support the staff and more people would come. Just a lick of paint etc. Pricing is fair though. Will stay again ! Cheers!

old looking for what you pay £68 it always says get a room for £34 well you try to get one at that price !!!!!! there the same rooms !!!!!!

Cheap basic hotel room. Served it's purpose. A bit tired and dated but clean and tidy. Stung with a £5 parking charge for 1 night. Hidden in the small print when booking.
