"Best Hotel in Nottingham as fast as I am concerned"

Beautiful historical building in the heart of the Lace Market - and Ruby the owl

Nothing - there are a few creaky floorboards, but this is something I find charming, others may find annoying - but then they’d need to grow up, appreciate the building is old, and appreciate the surroundings

The room was lovely, the only (very) slight niggle was that the window could not be opened and so no means of getting fresh air, and the curtain did not fully pull across. £3 for a bag of Maltesers is a bit steep!

"The Lace Market Hotel was conveniently situated and ideal for an overnight stay."

The location was perfect for our stay. We required a central location within easy walking distance of Motorpoint Arena.

The room albeit comfortable was too warm and for health and safety reasons the windows could not be opened for ventilation. The mini bar in the room was old and tired looking and was either switched off or broken as the drinks contained therein were at room temperature.

"Amazing afternoon tea"

Absolutely amazing. Carl and Cristina were the most welcoming people. I brought my daughter for the afternoon tea and the food and service were superb, we will be back
