Comfort Inn & Suites Ruston-East

This property is NO LONGER OPEN! Why is it LISTED ON THE SITE. I had to drive 3 hours back home with my 2 kids after a late evening of basketball! HORRIBLE!!!

Had booked a stay at the hotel, paid in advance only to find out upon arrival that the hotel was closed for renovations. No contact or effort was made to contact me or cancel the reservation.

It was a awesome stay

If I could give this hotel and the service with Hotels.com Zero stars I would. I tried to cancel my reservation due to my plans being cancelled but decided to go on my trip anyway, but when arrived at the hotel to check in, I was greeted with a hotel that was CLOSED!! It was under maintenance with not a single guest present, let alone someone who could even answer the phone. I paid for my reservation in advance, so my card was already charged for the weekend. I had to last minute find somewhere else to stay at another hotel in the area. Thankfully there was ONE room left in the whole town, seeing that I was 4 hours away from home. Extreamly unhappy with the comfort in and suites as well as hotels.com. There is no customer service number to get in touch with someone with Hotels.com and their “Active AI chat” have zero help. I was not once notified before my check in that the hotel was closed to guest.

My room wreaked of urine smell. I assume a pet had been in the room. Being that the place flooded and inconvenienced everyone staying there, it would have been a nice gesture to offer discounts for next stay or something. No one available at the desk at checkout.

This property had flooded and there was no hot water,no breakfast,no wifi,and had no key to my room every time I had to enter I asked for compensation none was given

There was a water leak at the property the day before. The first staff we encountered were EXTREMELY RUDE and unaccomadating. The second shift was GREAT. The room was not clean, the carpet smelled, the AC did not work properly it was a loooong hot night.

The phone in the room was out of service, the room had a meadow smell, and the cable to the tv did not work; could not watch anything. I reported it a the front desk.

The staff is very friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is old. First room was dirty, they gave us a second room which was occupied but on the third try the room was fine. The breakfast is bad so don’t eat there. The elevator broke the second day we were there ,so had to carry our luggage from the 2nd floor. The deadbolt on our door didn’t work and we had plastic cups that weren’t sealed. A very disappointing experience.
