we expected Fairmont hotel but there was too dirty every where. mirror, window, shower booth, towels... it was bad experience. when i check out, i met manager and show the pictures. they said it will be refund everything. however, we got bad experience at Canada ever.

An overnight stay. Spotless clean. Beautiful hotel. Big room. Grand welcoming foyer. However, disappointed in the evening dining experience which was quite expensive. Ordered the same meal as we did in Lake Louise at their sister hotel. No comparison. Lake Louise was miles better in presentation and taste. No table setting except a knife and fork on a little marble table. That was it. The breakfast experience, however, was lovely, with a more formal setting.

"Historical hotel /Refurbishment urgently needed"

Do not get me wrong, Fairmont Palisser is not a bad hotel but in my opinion it urgently needs investments. It is a historical hotel but everything is getting old, especially the carpets and the painting. There is a strange smell, like in an older museum.We had a Gold room, but no cabinet to store our clothes. On the same trip, we have been toi Fairmont Mc Donald in Edmonton which is immaculate. One good point, if you go for the reasonably priced Gold option you have lounge access on the top floor with a complementary breakfast (Excellent) and evening canapees (great too). Staff is extremely friendly

Always wanted to stay here, and it was worth it! Nothing beats a Fairmont Property lobby. I guess my only disappointment would be the bathrooms - that is the teeniest shower ever! But what can you expect when the building was put together in 1914, before any of that was even considered? Thanks, Palliser.

I stayed at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary and really enjoyed it. The building is old and full of character, but the rooms are comfortable and well kept. The location couldn’t be better right downtown and easy to walk anywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful without being over the top. I liked having breakfast in the dining room, and the pool and gym were nice extras. The room felt more classic than modern, but it suited the place and was quiet and relaxing. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d happily come back next time I’m in Calgary.
