Cozumel Hotel & Resort

Staff on checkin not welcoming. No wifi in rooms. Rooms very basic.

We had alot of fun with the daily activities. Everyone was super friendly and positive even when no one wanted to join they just chose something else to do

Have been to this hotel many times and used to find it a nice value for the price. This year the food was mostly inedible. I would be embarrassed if I was management. At the Pool they ran out of cups and had to use little tiny styrofoam cups. And did I mention they actually ran out of food at the breakfast buffet. And the selection a joke pancakes that were 3 hours old no pastry. 10 visits and this will be the last. Know I know why Wyndham took there name off the hotel.

This was our 7th time staying there. It's about 0.75 miles to town (at most), so an easy walk or cheap cab (or MOTO taxi). The pool is large with a bar and plenty of places to plop. They really built out the beach area, which also has a bar. There is snorkeling off the beach as well. We are scuba divers, and there is a pier that our boat picks us up and drops us off. That is SO convenient! We like only getting the breakfast there, as the food for lunch and dinner looks only meh. The rooms are very basic, but they include a minifridge, which is also very convenient. There is a grocery store a very short distance away, which we took advantage of a couple of times. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier. In summary, a very good place at a very good price.

We had an amazing experience with all staff! At the pool, bars and restaurants. Bonus that it was so close to downtown and we could walk there!

Cozumel Hotel and Resort. Juanita was fantastic with everyone she interacted with. She was engaging, friendly and a pleasure to be around. The rest of the entertainment crew was excellent too!

The food is terrible. Never hot especially at the snack bar. No lettuce at salad bar. No pizza on pizza and pasta night. 4 days to get bacon then they gave me 2 slices. I have been coming here for years and thought the food was getting better until this year. Have been going out to eat at night even though this is an all inclusive resort can't take this crummy food. The rooms are clean but the draws fall out.

Really enjoyed the pool area and activities led by Peppe'. His enthusiasm made you want to participate. From his jokes and friendliness, to his clear voice and patience with travelers , he was great. I look forward to his pool exercise and games next year.

Just returned from a week at Cozumel Hotel and Resort and really can’t say enough good things about this property and it’s staff. We are Canadians who have travelled to 25 countries in the past 13 years so we’re experienced travellers. The room was simple but clean and had everything we needed including an amazing shower and plenty of hot water. Cleaning staff left beautiful towel creations with fresh flowers every day. There is a large pool that was just cold enough to be refreshing and the animation team kept everyone entertained throughout the day. Nightly entertainment was also really good. We met so many great people, some whom have been going to the resort for 20 or 30 years and staying for months at a time. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. Staff were constantly cleaning which for us, didn’t go unnoticed. The beach is small but very nice and the snorkeling and sunsets are outstanding as was the weather during our stay. My husband went diving and had a great experience. Downtown is a short walk away for shopping and other dining/beverage experiences. Special shout out to Jose, Pedro, Valtin, and Rosa, but really all the staff made it a memorable vacation. Highly recommended ❤️
