The Eaton is fantastic, the only place I'll stay in DC, and the people who work there are fantastic too, especially Maggie, Nate, and Lydia. And vegan cookie vending machines?! Let's GO. Don't fail to spend some time hanging out in the cozy fireplace lounge!

Fabulous staff, welcoming work/relaxing spaces, and comfortable beautiful decor. Very clean, great books and records to enjoy and a comfy bed.

It would be wonderful to sauna in the evening.

"Boutique feel, curated comfort"

The Eaton is well designed to be comfortable like a guest bedroom with your own books and vinyl records, cool café downstairs, but adult in the nice linens and bath experience, I loved staying here. Also very central to all my meetings in DC so I could come back and rest or change easily. Loved their DJ booth and the exhibitions in the hotel.

"Nice enough but not a one Michelin key hotel"

We stayed for one night, and it was pleasant. Convenient location to the metro. Room was quiet and cozy.

Our room lacked a lot of the small details that you’d expect of a one Michelin key hotel. The record player was broken. The TV didn’t work. The overhead lamp wasn’t plugged in and was difficult to access. The shower head was spraying water out the top. The sink was leaking onto the toiletries beneath it. The bookshelves were dusty. The staff during check-in and check-out was also not particularly friendly. Nothing made us want to come back to the Eaton the next time we’re in DC.
