The Room was very nice

Online issue was the quite noisy ventilation

The average hotel experience is usually just… well, average. Our stay at the Eaton in Washington, D.C. was way beyond average. From the moment you walk into the lobby, the vibe is cool and the staff is genuinely friendly. We loved our warm & inviting room, complete with turntable and a selection of vinyl. Music, art and creativity is the prevailing theme at the Eaton. The rooftop bar and the speakeasy roll with that theme. If you’d rather step outside and relax at one of the sidewalk cafe tables, someone will be along with drinks and whatever you might like from the restaurant. Great stuff at a wonderful hotel.

Clean, modern, spacious room. On-site bars, restaurant, cafe Drip coffee in downstairs coffee was very nice. Lovely spacious, clean lobby, sitting areas and communal areas. Easy checkout

Unable to utilise the wellness centre (wanted to do yoga and a massage), no yoga on Fridays (we arrived Thurs afternoon and left early Saturday morning - so no other opportunity) and massages all booked out. Friday night stay could hear music from the rooftop bar until 1am. (Room 402) Happy hour at rooftop bar, ordered 2 cocktails off the limited selection and neither were available due to not having one/some of the ingredients. Bar staff recommended an old fashioned as being similar to one of the unavailable cocktails so we ordered that and was charged full price (not happy hour price), so a bit misleading. Check in was at 3pm. We arrived around 2pm and totally understood room was not ready, however did expect our room to be ready by 3pm. It wasn’t ready until around 3.17pm. The young lady that did our original check in (when room was not ready) was not overly helpful or friendly and did not give us all the information that we heard other staff give to everyone else who checked in over the hour we waited in the lobby. Mosquitos in the lobby.

It was an amazing experience and we love Maggie Arnold and we love Wally. They were phenomenal and wonderful thank you so much for giving us a great experience. The steep coffee in the room was great thank you.

This hotel is really good. I’m very picky, but they weee top notch: great service, clean, great vibe, not overly expensive. I’ve already booked my next stay in DC!
