Mercure Perth Hotel

Bad service wont allow to made changes after booking, worst mistake of life . Room and furniture was old and debilitated. If someone coming for attending course and need to stay there choose wisely.

Need renovation

The staff are great. I lost my wallet on the csr park when checking out. I phoned from home and the staff .member was so helpful. She went out of her way to find then send on my wallet. Can't thank her enough

The room was dated and there are stairs to go everywhere even just one or two is a lot for ambulant disabled people

I have stayed at the Mercure Hotel, Perth, Scotland on a number of occasions over the years. The rooms and en-suite bathrooms are very dated and in need of complete refurbishment, the car parks are small, difficult to park in and you frequently get blocked in at the car park at the front of the hotel. It’s also quite expensive to stay here and hotel guests are now charged £7 a night to park in their car parks. It is though in a good location and up until my visit today had a fantastic unique selling point that made all its shortfalls palatable, the best Haggis I’ve tasted at breakfast in a hotel in Scotland. Unfortunately this morning the Haggis was at best tasteless compressed ‘stuffing’ mush. I asked the restaurant manager what had happened to their fantastic Haggis and he advised they had changed supplier a couple of months ago, no doubt to cut costs. I know costs are rising sharply, including the room rates at Mercure hotel, Perth, but if they think folks will not notice they are very mistaken. I know of several people that stay there just for the fantastic Haggis. There are better and cheaper hotels in the city, but the Haggis at breakfast always made it worthwhile. I will not now be stopping again and I doubt others will that loved their Haggis at breakfast, alas this was now my last visit. Sometimes decision makers are so shortsighted. Good luck!
