Mercure Perth Hotel

Friendless and understanding of staff. I was rushed to hospital with a stroke and they were excellent with my wife.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Mercure Perth Hotel. Das Gebäude, eine liebevoll umgebaute, historische Wassermühle, hat unheimlich viel Charme und hebt sich wohltuend von standardisierten Hotelbauten ab. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch ist man in wenigen Gehminuten direkt im Stadtzentrum von Perth. Mein Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich komme gerne wieder.

The staff were amazing and my room was clean and comfortable. I felt that it was good value for money and was handy for the conference I was attending. The staff helped me with extended parking to help me attend the above.

I paid £12 for breakfast and there was very little for me to eat. Vegetarians don’t get a hot breakfast, unless you want scrambled eggs or beans on toast. I ended up with small pastries which couldn’t be heated as there was a regular toaster. No breakfast menu, where you could ask for adjustments, just help yourself. Felt disappointed.

We stayed over on the 30th May. On check on there was a sign on reception to say there was no bar or food service at a set time due to being a large party. Not the best start. ROOM Our room (22) was small, dated and a bit shabby and the lighting was shocking. It was however clean and bedding was fresh and bed comfy. Shower was fine We didnt have breakfast as we like the Willows at £18 for breakfast in a dingy room is too much. Not sure we would return.
