Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte North

I have never stayed at a hotel where you were charged for their breakfast? I only had a bagel and orange juice, my husband had coffee and eggs & sausage We were charged $28. Sorry that is absurd

Half bottle of soda in fridge. Sink didn't drain. Light in bathroom flashing. Bathtub won't drain fast. Clock was 20 min fast and couldn't change to correct time. Bed was comfortable.

Good location for our travel.

Room was clean and safe as expected, super short stay late evening check in for early morning flight. This prevented us from experiencing many of the amenities

The Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte North is a tired hotel. The lobby is nice, but that's about it. The corridors and room smelled musty. The elevators are slow. The bathroom had no hand soap, the light bulb was burned out, and the sink was very slow to drain. There were hardly any tissues or toilet paper. The curtains were ripped. The carpet was dirty. I'm shocked that Hilton allows their name to go on this hotel, time for renovation.

I booked a king size bed with the jet tub. We got there late at night and when we got to the room it looked like someone slept in the bed I tried calling the front desk but the phone wasn’t working so called from my personal phone and they told me to come down to the front desk to get another room with a jet tub. Other than that my stay was wonderful. Easy check in and easy check out. Also if you reserve a room there is a $25 fee

Overall our stay was great and the staff was very friendly. The room was of good size for our stay and was very clean and orderly. My only complaint is that the shower soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers were an annoyance. They have been placed near the front of the shower where you stand under the water. It causes you to turn into them every time you move.
