The Lake Hotel Killarney

I submitted a review by mistake for another hotel here. So this is our actual experience at the Lake hotel. We upgraded to a lake view room, it was very nice, clean comfortable and amazing views. The beds were comfortable, our room was impeccably cleaned every day. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was great, the staff there were attentive and friendly. We ate several meals at the pub/ restaurant here, not only is it very convenient, the food was good and again the staff was great. The location of this hotel was perfect, we walked to the National Park, you can do short or long hikes or walks depending on what you like. It’s a very short drive , 5 minutes to get downtown. This hotel and this area were a great place to visit and explore this area of Ireland. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The Lake hotel experience was wonderful. It was convenient to everything, two restaurants options on site, clean comfortable room, beautiful surrounding, and a caring and professional staff.

Aboustly brilliant time. Great stay.. staff are excellent, room was good, just one little issue, the room was just a little bit too warm at night , maybe turn down the heating , but other than that we really had a wonderful time. We booked another stay, the day we checked out and and we got a great deal.

Beautiful setting. Great location near Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula. Staff was well- trained and supportive. Various nice touches of customer service. Room was spacious and clean.

A wonderful old hotel with luxurious rooms in a fabulously scenic location. First class service as well, really friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved the Lake House. The staff was incredible, the room was gorgeous, the bar and restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was the most impressive one we had on our entire two week trip! The grounds of the hotel were gorgeous and we sat on the bar patio with a drink while the sun set over the mountains, lake and castle ruins on the grounds. We spent sometime exploring the hotel and loved all the old guests books in the library that date back to the 1950s! What a cool blast through time. We would definitely come back! It was quiet, just enough away from the road to not hear any cars and a 4 minutes drive into the bustling center of town. It was everything we wanted!

Luxurious opulence, this hotel has so many beautiful period features, the staff are exceptional in their friendliness and efficiency. Even room service delivers meals that are still hot from the kitchen! Loveliest hotel of our entire 3-week itinerary. Breakfast was also outstanding. Highly recommend and we will return.

As the review title suggests, this is one of the best located hotels in Killarney. Value for money given the level of services. Would like a more extensive menu / range of dishes for the restaurant, but otherwise, would definitely return in the future.
