"Assault at Tween Waters"

2.0

I was assaulted by a woman at tween waters on 3/1/26. I suffered a severe concussion when she pushed me to the ground-she didn’t like that I was against the war in Iran. The employees and manager did nothing to help me. An emt and police came to my aid. They were very helpful. I could not identity the person who pushed me though I’m pretty sure they had cameras all over. They treated me badly and no apologies were offered. I will never return to tween waters or their other resorts. Be careful of this place. When I told other guests what happened they accused me of being disruptive!

"Comfortable resort experience"

10.0

Spent one night here for my birthday, a gift from my husband. This resort is a mixture of old and new, nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Pine Island Sound. It has a somewhat confusing layout but we quickly learned the lay of the land. We stayed in an older but nicely renovated apartment--one bath, one bedroom but 2 queen beds plus small kitchen/dining and living room. Our room looked out over the marina and had a screened porch. Large bath with fluffy towels. My only complaint is that the mattresses need replacing. I had to change beds in the middle of the night and the second one was only marginally acceptable. The under building parking was extremely convenient. Two pools--the serenity is adults only--HEAVEN! Unfortunately we did not have the time to try out the free kayaks or bicycles--next time hopefully. Staff were friendly.

"Was a lovely location - restful break but weather was cool so could not take advantage of ameniti"

8.0

Location of facility, nice pool area and hot tub. Good food

Room was not ready for guests - no chair at all in the room, no microwave or utensils for an advertised kitchenette. Bed was not comfortable and the pillows belonged in the trash. It felt like they were still rehabbing but reserving rooms as weel. Work started at 7am during the week.

"Too Many Issues With Room and Such… 5 Night Stay Ended 3 Days Early"

4.0

Checked in about 9:00pm and it was cold… 38 degrees. F. We thought we booked Room 260 based on seeing the room during our past stay, however, when we arrived I was told the room was already occupied and when questioned why was told they only guarantee room choices on reservations of 7 days or more. My reply was we would have added two more days to reserve the room but was never advised so. That gave us room 266. My wife got to the room before me. The room’s mini split was set on AC (but she did not know that) and the room temp registered 60 deg. Front desk called maintenance. He came and set the mini split to Heat and turned it to “Jet Mode”… fan pushed a lot of cold air. Maintenance man said leave it on for a while and it will heat up… NOT! I have two mini splits in my barn’s office and bunkhouse at home and reset everything and fan to low. Heat started coming out of unit but not enough to keep room warm. Slept with warm clothing on. This morning we asked to speak to GM about room and lack of heat. He said he would send maintenance over to look at unit. I told him I did not think mini split was capable of heating the room… it just wasn’t putting out enough hot air and asked for a portable heater and if they could not find one to let me know and I would run out & purchase one myself. Got back to room a few hours later and groom was still not warm. Went to speak to GM and was told maintenance said room HVAC was working. I asked him where the portable heater was and was told they only had a few and they were already handed out. I asked why I was not called and he said he told maintenance to keep looking. WHAT A LOUSY EXCUSE. Then my wife went to watch tv and could not get Xfinity to work. Even followed instructions on back of Chanel Programing Card in the room. She screwed around with it for at least 1/2 hour so I called front desk to get help. They sent maintenance up to room. When he saw I was following directions on back of guide he gave a quiet laugh and said those instructions would not work and proceeded to show me the proper setup which was nowhere close to instructions on card. I informed front desk of card having incorrect instructions and was told they would talk to their manager about it. Room was still cold so we decided t check out. Was told room was non-refundable but I could talk to GM about it. He came out and I told him we were checking out because room was still cold. He went into system and canceled the remaining 3 night stay.

"Amazing Spa"

10.0

Went to the Spa at Tween Waters in Captiva Island. What a great experience! I went for a pedicure for my first visit and Lyza was amazing! She was so detailed and it was one of the best pedicured I have ever had!!!!! She was also so sweet:) The next day I went for a Deep Tissue Massage for 80 minutes….it was the best message I have ever experienced. Song was truly wonderful and I can not say enough how amazing she was….really knew what she was doing. Georgie at the front desk was so friendly and kind…everyone at the Spa treated me with great care. I would recommend this Spa for sure!!!!!
