Hotel Punta Serena & Resorts- Couples Only

We have attended Punta Serena for 8 years, each trip is better than the last. The food is good, the surroundings magnificent. There is a view of two bays and they have three hot tubs down the side of the cliffs. The beach is private, although a climb down and back up again. They have a Temascal hot rocks one day a week. It is very private, no kids, an infinity pool and lots of good scenery. They are in the middle of no where, so makes for a fine private experience.

My wife and I enjoyed our 5th visit to PS, one of our favourite resorts, in November 2019, this time for 14 nights. Overall we had a fabulous time. The resort was in wonderful condition with everything up and running. The jacuzzis, the pool, the main dining room, the bar area, our villa suite and the beach were all just perfect. There is always work going on to make things nicer. As expected, the staff was absolutely wonderful and the level of service had improved since our last trip. The servers were very patient as my wife tried to practice her Spanish with them they helped her along and encouraged her to try which was appreciated. Rodrigo was the lone masseuse and we enjoyed several massages during our stay. His massages are certainly one of my wife’s favourite parts of a stay here. The food was delicious but because it is limited and we were there for a longer stay the Chef did offer to make us a few things that were not on the menu and we took hm up on that. The guy can really cook. We enjoyed a few meals at the Arrecife restaurant at the neighbouring Los Angeles Locos resort. The food is very good as is the atmosphere. Note, long pants and shoes are required for men. A wedding was held during our stay and after some confusion the staff really looked after us. We were moved to a different room to accommodate the wedding and as soon as the weekend event was over we were relocated back to our beautiful villa. The wedding was held on the beach and was truly beautiful. Also during our stay we enjoyed one of the resorts “Naturist Weekends” where nudity was permitted everywhere aside from the lobby and restaurant. That was a lot of fun and reminded us of how the resort was set up when we first visited 10 years ago. There were special theme nights with BBQ's and dancing in the evening. One issue worth raising is the availability of an internet connection. I realize that we are on vacation and we don't need to surf or stream but it is still a very convenient way to maintain contact with family back home especially when you are away for 14 nights as we were. The internet router is located in the games room and you must be near that room to get any service. Not in your room, not on the other side of the pool. My wife and I had another wonderful vacation and hope we can return someday.

Está excelente el hecho de que sean únicamente 24 habitaciones, ya que el servicio se vuelve muy personal y te evitas el hecho de estar haciendo filas y perdiendo el tiempo al momento de requerir un servicio. Quizás mejorar el mantenimiento de los aires acondicionados, ya que al menos en la habitación que se me asignó, el minisplit hacía ruidos bastante fuertes de forma intermitente.

Absolutely beautiful view and venue with very attentive service, and a very private clothing-optional beach. Food and rooms are more-than-adequate to good, but short of excellent - but for an all-inclusive adults-only resort the rates are hard to beat.

Fue espectacular, cubrió todas nuestras expectativas, hubo un pequeño accidente en la terraza de nuestra habitación ya que mi esposo se subió a la hamaca y ella se rompió, por lo que obviamente ya estaba en mal estado el tejido de la misma. La comida exquisita, las instalaciones magníficas, el personal muy atento y servicial. Nos encantó

Second time and better than the first service was great room was amazing and the time was relaxing and exactly what we needed

The location exceeded our expectations. The main restaurant food menu needed some improvements. Breakfast was excellent, lunch and snacks excellent dinner was average. The dinner items needed to be improved on the cooking side. presentation ok , ingredients were ok. We will return
