Grand Decameron Montego Beach, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort

upon arrival you have to wait for hours for check in and waste half of your day to check in. The air conditioner in the room does blows out hot air and it is extremely to for the unit not to work correctly. Food is terrible.

Only like they entertainments, the food was sooo limited, the staff was very unprofessional, very very disrespectful, there isn't no love at that resort, i had to eat outside every day , after paying for all-inclusive, they did not clean the room in 3 days, even when asked, had to go outside and purchase towels . Oh yes and thr manager told me to stock out my room by . I'd never recommend this resort to anyone, everything was a disaster, not even a half star needed to give this resort, worst ever resorts I've visited ,

For the 6 nights I stayed there I had a problem with my ac and would complain every night. They only came and fixed it one time after my ceiling started to sweat because of how humid my room was and then the next day it broke again. I waited for almost an hour waiting for the maintenance guy to look at it again and then the front desk gave up and changed my room. They also are very stingy with the towels, leaving only 1 towel and never replacing the floor one, or I never got one in return. Multiple days I only had lukewarm water to bathe in. The pool and food were alright.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Not a large hotel but it had everything I needed. The facilities were very clean and the employees were outstanding. Being on the smaller side most employees recognized me within a day and would always ask how my vacation was going. I was there alone for my 50th birthday. The food was excellent. Shalisa the massage therapist was amazing and very knowledgeable. She was a delight to talk to and her assistants were so accommodating. Every time Shalisa would see me after my massage she would alway come talk to me. Fantastic person. Bartenders were all nice and fun to be around. Pool atmosphere was fun. The sister hotel is also accessible which is right next door. The Cromwell has a coffee shop, and the same accommodation as the Grand. The beach was set up better at the Cromwell but I had no issues with the beach at the Grand. The only downside I saw was maybe a bit outdated but I feel like beach hotels are usually that way. This was not a 5 star resort but a very nice hotel with all the accommodation needed for a Caribbean vacation.

The hotel as a whole needs renovation, the rooms are clean although the towels are dirty, if you are not prepared to eat spicy food I do not recommend it, there is no other option, I complained since it is an all-inclusive and those of us who do not have a culture of eating rich food only eat cheese and salads, the drinks are very good and also the beer, the service staff, most of them always look annoyed although a few are very attentive, the beach is clean and beautiful. But still, because of the price and the problem with the spicy food, I do not recommend it to anyone, especially if you are going with children.el hotel como toal necesita renovación, las habitaciones limpias aunque las toallas empercudida, si no estas preparado para comer picante bo te lo recomiendo no hay otra opción, yo di la queja ya que es un todo incluido y los que no tenemos cultura de comer pucante solo comemos quesos y ensaladas,los tragos muy buenos y también la cerveza, el personal de servicio la mayoría siempre con cara de molestias anque algunas pocas bien atentas,la playa limpia y hermosa .pero igual por el precio y el problema con la comida picante no se lo recomiendo a nadia y mucho mebos si van con niños

The location was great, close to the airport and close to downtown. The price was good but the food was not that good.

Had fun off the resort the ppl were nice but the pool close at 5pm everyday which is wack !! And not enough entertainment on the resort

1. When we were trying to communicate with the hotel, we could not buy phone so we went to hotel. I tried to go to the Front Desk but security made us wait at the curbside by the street for over 30 minutes then we left. 2. The towels that we have to walk to get at the gym were extremely raggedy for our All Inclusive hotel. 3. The room had no refrigerator. I requested one and second day here still no refrigerator in the room. 4. I just took a shower and there’s no hot water. 5. We asked the Front Desk about Car Service to the airport. She could not give me a straight answer. and she did not even try to find out for us. So I went to find out myself and figured it out. 6. I booked this hotel through Chase Sapphire card and when I called them they were not accountable at all and deferred to the hotel for everything. 7. there was no washcloth in addition.

The room was nice, very close proximity to the beach. The staff was great, super friendly and kind. The food was not great, pretty abysmal, & when they cleaned my room they did not give me new towels. I asked for towels a few times but never received them. Other than those things I had a great stay.
