It had 24 hour reception

We chose a room that was extra to have a buffet breakfast but they chose not to have it on that morning because not many people were staying. They took an order and brought a small plate of food. We would have gone elsewhere if we had known in advance

The check in staff were lovely. Didn't eat at the property. The Room was spotlessly clean and the beds were really really comfortable. Great sized room.

The hotel grounds were pleasant with attractive brick buildings, greenery, water features and a spa.

The interior of the room was very disappointing, small, with ugly old furniture and a very tired, dated bathroom.

The friendly, welcoming staff, the lovely gardens, comfortable bed.

Bed was absolutely atrocious! Rooms were freezing cold - being Ballarat and winter I would have expected electric blankets - even basic motels that I've stayed in have electric blankets. On multiple occasions I had tried to call reception but no one answers. When we arrived there were functions on, so no carparking available to check in, I had to circle multiple times until someone had moved out of the tiny 2minute bay. The rooms are very old & definitely not worth the money that we paid for 2 nights.
