They did not have our correct reservation and now I have to contact them because they charged my card a higher room rate. The lobby was nice, staff was pleasant. The room was ok, we didn’t get the king we requested. The air conditioner kicked on and off all night and made loud noises waking us up every time it went back on. Breakfast was average Ok enough but would not book again

Nice gym, nice room design, women in guest services were hospitable

Lack of Cleanliness. First room we stayed in the originally white tub had a dirty ring around it and brown flooring. I called guest services. We got our room switched after the gentleman in guest services said he’d check the room because sometimes the bathroom is clean, but have a ring around it??? Perhaps I’m misguided, but it seemed like I would’ve needed their approval for a room switch when we just checked into the room less than 20 minutes prior. And the hotel had vacancies. When he checked it was certainly dirty as I said it was, so they thankfully switched our room. In the second room- After sleeping we noticed stains in the bed that were not ours, black stains on pillows, brown on the edge of the bed cover. I can’t believe I slept on this bed. Gym is accessible though they have notices to guests only, but is a swinging door with no need to use your room key. This is a safety issue. All the Marriott’s we’ve stayed at required room key access, so that everyone in there is accounted for. I know I left an item in the room and when I called the first time the gentleman said he would check the room and call me back. About half an hour later I called them back as I had not heard back and he said he sent word to housekeeping. What happened to checking yourself? He calls me back within the hour after the second call and says they not did not see it and he checked and he did not see it. I know I left it there and no other place because it was just one night there and no where else between days so that tells me either housekeeping or guest services rep is incompetent or deceptive. What’s disappointing most of all is that we had several hotel options in the area but were willing to pay a little more because of our wonderful experiences at the Marriott but this one was incredibly disappointing.

"Disappointing Stay with Multiple Maintenance Issues"

I had high expectations for this stay, but I was disappointed by a number of issues that made the experience frustrating. The door to our room was broken, and we had to jerry-rig it just to get in. One of the lightbulbs in the room was out when we arrived. There were cobwebs in multiple ceiling corners and several spiders in the shower. My key card stopped working twice in two days. While the power outage may have been out of the hotel’s control, these other problems were not. I expected better upkeep and basic functionality from a place at this price point. I wouldn’t stay here again.
