Quality Inn Falconer - Jamestown

The front desk person was pleasant.

I recently booked a stay at the Quality Inn in Falconer and was forced to leave immediately due to the deplorable condition of the property. The lobby and common areas were unclean, and my room had a strong odor of mildew and urine, with stained bedding and torn curtains. Even more concerning, there was no staff available at the front desk because of an active police incident on-site. It became clear that the hotel is being used for long-term housing without maintaining basic cleanliness or safety standards for guests. I relocated my family to another hotel and have requested a full refund. I do not recommend this property under its current management.

The key to my door didn’t work 4 different times.The manager didn’t come in till the next afternoon to try to fix it. My “breakfast” consisted of a brown paper bag with a water, an apple, and a muffin in a plastic wrap. The front desk guy was outside smoking with what seemed like friends of his while I waited at the desk. I tried to get expedia on the phone to discuss my problems. No luck there. The wallpaper is peeling. There is spray paint on the sliding glass door going to the outside. This place is an embarrassment to all Quality Inns. I left with 3 nights left on my stay.

A group of people were constantly hanging out at the front entrance smoking and watching us come and go. Long-term residents?

I’ve stayed here before and it was good , this time I felt uncomfortable as soon as I pulled up , staff and guests hanging at the front door smoking and whatever , had to wait until they moved to get in the door. The room it self was very old but clean ,but it was very damp and paint peeling . The front reception was very dirty , and with what it looked like permanent resident I felt totally unsafe.I travel alone all the time and this place made me feel very uncomfortable that I left a day early

It was close proximity to my family.

It was NOT at all as advertised. The exterior of the property was littered with garbage. My room was not serviced my entire stay. The facility was primarily a drop off for social services clientele. I found it very intimidating and concerning for my safety as I was traveling solo. The continental breakfast was very disappointing offering granola bars and water. The waffle bar was not always functional. The redeeming quality was the staff was generally friendly and helpful.

I was there at 3 o’clock. The room was not ready. I had to wait until 330 to even get into the room. The hallways and the stairs were not vacuumed. They weren’t vacuumed the entire time. I was there. There were several families. I’m assuming that live at the motel Gathered around the front of the building, which is not appealing the only door that it was available to come in at night was the front one because the other three didn’t work was very disgusted with my stay this time. I don’t know if the hotel is under new management, but I was not happy.

It was bizarre. There appeared to be many families with large number children living in the hotel long term. I saw almost no other guests. It was very strange. The reception guy was nice but no explained what was going on. When I pulled there must have 10 kids running with parents sitting around chain smoking outside the front door. I’m sorry, don’t stay here until see word that things have been cleaned up!

I was totally unhappy with the new continental breakfast which included in a bag, a bottle of water and a granola bar you could make yourself oatmeal or have juice, coffee, or waffle. This is not a continental breakfast. I do not like oatmeal. I don’t eat waffles. I know the cost of things have gone up. However, you could do better on this aspect.
