Shangri-La Wuhan

The city of Wuhan is a challenge to foreigners; language barriers, very large metropolis, dense, highly active street scene, and unfortunately terrible air quality. The hotel and particularly the first rate staff made my stay there wonderful. The staff, at all levels, were probably the best attitude and performing individually and collectively of any hotel I've spent time in around the globe. There is no room for improvement. They were responsive, gracious and helpful at every turn. Remarkable effort. Dressed impeccably as well. The gym, restaurants, awesome room service, and lounges made the stay there even more comfortable. Excellent value as well. If you are ever visiting Wuhan, this is unquestionably the place to park.

The hotel was really convenient for where I was working for business. The staff were very helpful and I really enjoyed all of the facilities that the hotel offers.

Average. Very disappointed to discover breakfast was not included (probably my own fault for not reading the booking properly but these days breakfast comes as standard!). Breakfast bar very understaffed especially at the weekend - 20 mins to get toasted bagel! Staff were clearly "stretched" and some looked overwhealmed but they were generally polite and despite huge language barriers, they tried very hard to be helpful

Very good business type stay

The hotel needs the remodeling. It looks little bit outdated.

The staff was very friendly, patient and trying to help guests. The foods are good and have diverse choices. Room is clean and has decent space.

This is a great upscale hotel with many employes and good service. Their breakfast had so many choices including the typical Chinese breakfast items like soups, dumplings and vegetables. Low price for what was given.

Stayed here on business for the second time. Was sorely disappointed with being told I had to pay extra for a single bed, rather than accept two beds put together...especially since the hotel was not at capacity. Paid the difference, then went up to the room. The wifi was under renovation. This was truly not acceptable since I interface with clients in the usa. To be fair they offered me access to their business lounge that closes at 11pm. I am used to good service at then Shangri La chain...this one is not up to par.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. I really like the indoor pool and health club.

Fantastic staff, very helpful. This is great place to stay when in Wuhan
