Hyatt Place Philadelphia/ King of Prussia

This hotel should be regarded as an absolute embarrassment to the Hyatt brand. It is worn down, in disrepair and filthy throughout. It should get an immediate renovation down to the studs. Free breakfast was gross and hot food items were lukewarm at best. Coffee even had a strange taste.

Location and cost.

Shower had mold. 2 small bath towels - no mat, hand towel or washcloths. Toilet broke; not clogged.

The hotel is a little older however it was clean. Our room was clean. That’s very important to me. The mattress was great! The staff was very kind. The woman who checked us in was nice and gave suggestions on where to eat.

The breakfast food - eggs, sausage, home fries which should be at least warm were not. Kind of disgusting eating cold sausage and eggs. I would suggest they turn up the heat on the hot food.

Area close to golf course

Property was beat up everywhere and not clean at all. The bathroom was atrocious with mold and wall panels falling off. Towels were awful and old as hell. The hallways and carpet were terrible and old.

The lobby and room were clean.

The pool was atrocious and disgusting. It had the most pungent odor of urine, hair and debris floating throughout. There was as also dirty scum surrounding the entire perimeter wall of the pool. When I reported it to management, they responded as though this issue had never been addressed by other patrons, until that moment with me; claiming maintenance had been missed one day. The pool could not have accumulated that level of filth in one day, but would have taken months to become this way. The hvac unit in the room did not work properly and had to be unplugged to prevent the room from freezing. The food while visually appealing, was most unappetizing and i ended up discarding it. I waited for fresh food and unfortunately, the taste quality never improved.
