"Valentine escape"

What a wonderful place from when you woke up to when the maid asked if they could turn down your bed! The stunning scenery as well complimented the whole experience. This was a great venue and a relaxing escape, for a very reasonable price. The food (albeit we only had breakfast) was brilliant and the staff were extremely helpful.

We booked a room in the manson block thinking that was the oldest part of the house - which it is not - slightly disappointing but nothing wrong with the room per se and a good size. The oldest part of the hotel has some amazing architectural features. We thought the staff were attentive and friendly.

"Very pleasant stay"

Very secluded spot, lovely old Manor House. Bedroom and bathroom were both large, bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly & both breakfast and dinner were good. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Excellent one night stay, business trip. Hotel staff extremely friendly. Will definitely return, when in the same area on a pleasure trip. The evening meal was excellent along with the breakfast, we could not fault this hotel, for atmosphere along with comfort. Value for money.
