what a good stay only issue was the coffee machine didn't work. But cannot mark the hotel down for this as we didn't bother to report it.

Suprising location peaceful and calm . A bit outside the main hub but i liked that . Restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Overall good value for money better than the so called budget alternatives. Definitely worth a weekend especially using my points. 👍

Lovely swimming pool, water dispenser on every floor which was amazing! Needs updating but great stay and lovely staff.

I booked 2 rooms 1 of which hadn’t even been cleaned towels on the bathroom floor bed not made diner plates on the side the other where the bed hadn’t been made properly with the mattress protector bunched up in the middle bit lumpy on the first night until I investigated and made the bed properly then the door key looked me out little bit annoying. The staff were outstanding though and such a lovely house they just need new maids that do the job with a bit of pride.

The hotel is set a beautiful location with nice public spaces. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly but probably need more staff available. The room was spacious but dusty and windows didn't close properly. Staff attended to these issues promptly but windows need a permanent solution. Breakfast was great and there's a fantastic swimming pool on site.

Shower was in a fixed position and cold. Had to phone reception from own mobile as told reception twice my room phone was missing. Was told itd be replaced. Was then told not possible til next day but wasnt told until next day. Ordered takeaway. Reception said theyd bring it to my room. They didnt. Had to do it myself

Very enjoyable stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept nice and clean. The pool and other spa facilities were excellent! Would highly recommend😊

Arrived at 3pm, there were no staff manning reception. We were waiting 10 minutes which was not a good start. Thought we would go into the bar for a drink instead of waiting and there were no staff behind the bar either (315pm)! The room we stayed in was tired, nevertheless, it was clean and comfortable. The pool area/sauna/steam room was decent.

Bed and room very comfortable, parkland location is lovely. Food and wine nice too. That's it for positives sadly. Hotel is very tired, needs a most areas updating and modernising. Staff a mix of very new and experienced but either not enough or badly organised. Long waits at the bar even though only 10 people in the bar. 10 minute wait to get salt brought to go with the fish and chips. 3 fire alarms in the night, no explanation or apology. When this was raised on check out a half hearted apology was offered but not with any eye contact or sincerity.

Good leisure facilities, enjoyed breakfast but breakfast rolls are brioche which my Mum and kids didn't like. Some areas of the hotel need renovation. Well kept grounds. Overall a good stay and would return again if in the area.
