The rustic decor fits right right in with the ski mountain atmosphere and the friendly staff makes you feel you are right at home.

It was a lot of fun. The food was fantastic. The staff was a hit/miss. Some of them were really great, others not so much. The rooms are so/so, our heat died while we were there so we had to use a portable heater which was very loud. For what they charge, it should be better.

Fun, welcoming environment with staff always sayinghow high can we jump! The guests were almost universally friendly and interested in meeting their fellow travelers. The hot tub is one of the best ski resort tubs I have ever used. The included breakfast and lunch were good, though variety was somewhat lacking. The dinners were fantastic served in a family style that was a great deal of fun. At 9p, the recently released movie viewings were a cherry on top of the stay. Great resort and would definitely go again!

The Peruvian Lodge has amazing staff (Dan is the best!) and the food is fantastic. However, if you book through Hotels.com, you may end up in a room adjacent to or above the bar on the 2nd floor. This will give you the "treat" of listening to live bands, taped music, loud conversations, etc., etc. blasting through your room until 9:30 at night. Doesn't sound bad, unless you're exhausted after flying from the East Coast or would like to sleep after a great day of skiing at Alta.. WHY the hotel chose to put the bar on the 2nd floor is anyone's guess, since the basement-TV room (next to the dining room) is virtually empty 24/7 and would be perfect for the bar. Of course, if you have a great set of ear-plugs, you'll be fine. :)

It’s a true, authentic ski chalet and resort. Meant for the ski purists. High on charm low on frills.

Can't beat the location, culture, and authenticity of the place. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the toilet flushed for about 45 seconds, which was odd. But it's easy to overlook the little things at Alta, even at $450 a night (what we paid when booking within 7 days), because hey, you're at Alta. The food was good, too.

Great, simple experience once again at the P-Dog!

Went to the Peruvian on spring break with my youngest son. The people were really friendly. The twin room was fine, although the twin bed mattress was a little bit wobbly 😁. Food absolutely fantastic! Bar in hotel awesome! Hot tub after skiing phenomenal! Not really ski in ski out. But the shuttle bus service Very very good! Looking forward to going here again. Would highly recommend this hotel!
