The Regency Hotel Solihull

Hired Four Ashes Suite for a private function together with rooms. Venue and staff were excellent and would recommend. However, from my experience, would advise against using their recommended DJ Ian Rogers. Having paid and booked well in advance, no DJ turned up to our function on the night. Alternative arrangements were made at short notice which was appreciated, but music started almost 2 hours late. We were advised that some reimbursement would be made to compensate for the stress and anxiety caused which did spoil the event, but having tried to contact Ian Rogers, no response or apology was received. Some friends and family stayed overnight and rooms were clean and good value. Breakfast was excellent.

5 star service the team were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. Don’t let the reviews put you off, you won’t be dissapointed. I’ll be back in a few weeks!

Location as i know the area. Comfortable room.

There was a hiccup in that the key card given to me did mot open the door but it was resolved by the hotel s technician

The location and food and staff in bar brilliant

Wasn’t told about pool being renovated and work being done in building was very cold and smelling of weed in hallway and lift

Harry’s bar was very good.

A lot of work going on for refurbishment. Very long walk to room and only a small double bed.
