The room was recently renovated to a nice standard

The windows were filthy you could barely see through them. The building going from the reception area up to the room needs a lot of work as it’s very run down and dated. The fire alarm went off and then turned off in the morning which was less than ideal

The staff were very helpful.

We had to move rooms 3 times!

On checking in we were informed that renovations were going on and although we were on the 2nd floor the lift only went to the 1st. Although our room had been renovated there were glasses to drink water from but nowhere to get any water apart from bathroom. We had a double room but only one towel and was unable to ring reception as no phone in room. We were out for the whole day and on returning the room had not been serviced my husband had to go to reception which was a trek away to be told rooms are only serviced every 3rd day. He was handed another towel which had seen better day. The corridor to our room was ice cold and smelt and the carpet badly stained. Parking costs £10 per day even as a guest one positive the bar area was comfortable. The leisure club was closed apparently due to renovations but again was not informed until we checked in

Great sports bar, and the rooms are great

Don’t go here if you’re looking for a good meal. the food my be ok but we had to wait 45 minutes for breakfast, and we ended up taking it to go. If we had been informed earlier about the wait, we wouldn’t have ordered. Additionally, the starters arrived with the main dishes, as the staff refused to let us order a couple of starters as our main meals. Furthermore, my 2-year-old was with us for about 20 minutes, during which I was scolded three times by the staff and management for my child being a bit loud, even though there were 8 to 10 people in the restaurant at that time. This place is not child-friendly. The staff seem to be untrained or a bit rude. I'm not sure why this is the case.

Loved the refurbished room. Lovely colour/ fresh carpet dmell. Stayed with a friend to attend Crufts. Lovely fresh decor, lovely shower! Excellent hairdryer.

The stable door to bathroom was lovely but not practical. Could hear everything if friend was in bathroom! Not very private. Also noisy to open and close door at night. Kettle dribbled water..
