Baymont by Wyndham Roanoke Rapids

After having a terrible experience at an Air Bnb, we checked into this hotel. Ratings had it at a 2.6. And even though it was LAST MINUTE and not the best hotel in the world, the hotel staff made it feel like a 5 star hotel. Mrs. Wendy and Courtney made sure our stay was comfortable, clean, and worth it!

Room dirty and unkempt. Area unsafe and suspect.

Lousy breakfast, no juice. nor enough tables and chairs, People had to eat in lobby. coffee was by check in, not in dining room No lamp in room. Pool closed and covered

The only good thing was the sweet girl at the check in. If it wasn’t for her we would’ve gone somewhere else

Ceiling was peeling, literally a hole in the wall. Was clean, but needs major overhaul. Best thing was the water pressure and no bed bugs. Late night you have to talk through a window to check in, wondering if you will be mugged in the process.

This place was Horrible! Room was filthy. The floor was gritty and has not been mopped in awhile, they also tried to charge my card for an additional night and the clerk acts like he doesn't understand English. There is no night clerk at all. The breakfast was nasty and the space where it was served was filthy so we ate out. If you like roaches, they are here, if you like seeing drunk people talking outside your room loudly at night, its here. Homeless people were grilling in the parking lot after 5 PM. No security , spider webs in the corners and on the exterior lights leading to the room. Dirty bathroom, ring in the tub. Oh and lastly, they put duct tape on the bathroom door to cover what looked like a bullet hole!!! DON'T BOOK HERE! DON'T BOOK HERE!

This hotel needs refurbished.

Do not stay here they allow drug users and riff raft to stay there. We personally seen a fight happen. They have a pool but not working. Office staff can be rude to customers. Positive was the breakfast choices, maids were friendly , pet friendly for a small fee.

Good place to stay for a night or so

The room was NASTY. My son slept in the tub because there wasn’t a roll away bed left for him. The floors were smelly and sticky. The room smelled like weed. The beds had stains on the sheets. The one sheet was completely ripped. The continental breakfast was just as bad. We went to get a bagel and it was completely frozen solid. I wouldn’t recommend this places for roaches and bedbugs to live in.
