Baymont by Wyndham Roanoke Rapids

There was only 1 person working there, and he was on a smoke break when we were checking in and out. The room was dirty, stains on the comforter and on the ceiling. The bathroom mirror was smeared and had obvious toothpaste spit on it. The toilet was clogged when we got there. Told the guy at the desk and was told he would be right there. I walked down again an hour later to let him know that it still needed to be fixed, and he came up and blamed us for clogging it. He said if we needed anything else to just give him a call. I told him that their phones weren't working, and he said that they haven't been working for a year. The pool that is advertised hasn't been open in 4 years. The place was a real crap hole.

The ceiling needs repairs.

Check in was simple. After being in our room we didn't have enough wash clothes and towels.I was told there r none clean. The toilet was clogged twice had to use a plunger myself. The floor made my white socks very dirty. The floor was dirty and I didn't realize it. Coffee pot was broken and no styrofoam cups for coffe just 2 plastic.alarm clock doesnt work. No swimming or fitness room. Ive stayed here when I come to myrtle beach and never had conditions like this. This will be the last time I stay here I will go somewhere else.

I was kicked out and band from renting after 4 days due to having to many visitors. I was in town to see friends and family since I had been away for a while.

I would never stay here again or recommend even someone I didn’t like to stay here. First when walking in to check in, two workers didn’t stop their conversation to treat us, finish what they were doing and then said hello. Then our first room was horrible, ac didn’t work, left over trash, missing drawers in dressing, bathroom tub had water and dead bugs floating about, and weird color stains on the wall. I called down to the front desk and asked for a different room, was told they were completely booked that someone would come up, check the ac, and sweep. Got a call back that they would move our room to the last room available. The new room didn’t have dead bugs floating in the tub, but the room still wasn’t clearly well managed and door wouldn’t lock from the inside. Plus the neighbor was blasting their tv from the time we stepped into the room until we left the next morning early. Couldn’t leave there fast enough….

No cover ( blanket) on bed just sheets.

We were first assigned a room on the first floor. It smelled so badly that I could barely breathe. I was then assigned a room on the second floor. No elevator, so schlep your bag up a flight. The second room did not smell as bad - like air freshener. The furniture is battered. The lamp switch was broken off. The smoke detector sat on top of the clothes rack with a battery next to it. The floor in the bathroom had scraps of toilet paper and hair. The bathtub’s condition discouraged use - is that old soap scum dried where it ran down from the soap dish? Walls in the bathroom had yellowed drip lines - urine or steam streaks? A wall in the bedroom was touched up with spray paint.

Property is a really bad condition.

Only needed it for one night while traveling. Toilet was broke and the seat wasn’t correct. Kind of dirty, but it served the purpose.
