Super 8 by Wyndham Omaha Eppley Airport/Carter Lake

We were stuck after missing our flight during the baseball world series in Omaha. Went to Hotels.com as usual. All of the hotels jacked up their rates for that event including this 'super 8'. I had heard that Super 8s had overall upgraded so figured it couldn't be SO bad, even at a RIDICULOUS $349 rate for 2. I used ALL of my hard earned $93 to get down to $243 total. The hallway was dirty, the room floor was dirty, the buttons on the AC couldn't be read so had no idea how to adjust temp. The TV didn't work. We were told as soon as their 'engineer' came back, he would fix it. When we returned from dinner, it wasn't fixed. 3 of the 4 lamps didn't work. The TP holders couldn't hold a roll. There was only 1 facecloth. The toilet had pink mold growing. The sheets had numerous cigarette holes. The fire extinguisher was non existent. I doubt the sprinklers worked from the looks of them. Initially, when we told the front desk about the TV, we were offered another room but it was upstairs and with the luggage we had and the late hour, we didn't have much hope the rest of the place would be significantly better. The next morning, we NICELY informed the 'manager' (not sure he was) was VERY rude and said 'if you had come 10 minutes after you came and asked for another room, we would have made an adjustment but you've already stayed overnight so no". We told him the rate was ridiculous, and he countered that 'it's because of the baseball series..everyone has raised rates'

Worst hotel you could possibly imagine. Management folks were nice enough but the room was disgusting. Slept on top of the covers disgusting. Absolutely wreaked of long term smokers to boot. Stay away.

This place should not even be open it would be best if it were condemned and bulldozed.

Filthy hotel carpets had not been cleaned since Elvis was alive

Cockroach piece in our bed! Also found 5 alive ones at the foot of the bed under the blankets 😳😳😳😳

Property is fine, near airport and on a short road with a gas station and convenience store. Near a park with jogging trail. For some reason, very few guests when I was there, but overall the property was fine. Free breakfast included pancakes you make yourself.

The room by son and his girlfriend got had bugs in bathroom and the door was literally falling off hinges. They and my wife left to stay at Holiday Inn.

Don't stay here. They will add on extra charges at the front desk such as having over 3 guests per room even though the room sleeps 5. When you try to dispute the charge, they will give you a room with overturned bedsheets, pillows in random places, ironing board standing in the middle, toilet paper rolled out on the floor of the bathroom, soap taken out of its wrapper, and a piece of garbage on the table. I am not kidding. When we saw that, we decided to walk out and book a different hotel that night.

Can’t believe Wyndham has their name associated with that hotel. Moldy bathroom, cracked tile floor, sheets looked dirty. Carpet filthy. Ac unit cover fell off in my hands. Really makes me not trust the brand anymore.

Nice place, had no problems..
