An incredible wedding weekend in our local dream venue. From the minute we booked it, to the very final hour of the day, the team were amazing at looking after us. From Lexie and Hannah to the chefs in kitchen, they supported our ideas every step of the way and every guest loved it. The location is perfect and the surroundings were beautiful.

Lovely quaint hotel in a beautiful setting.Nice breakfast and great seating area outside front of hotel.

Lack of air con although fan already set up in room.

Between a canal and a duck pond very picturesque.

There was no porter to help with heavy luggage , I asked for a fridge in my room as I am diabetic , this was refused . In my room the hand basin in the bathroom was extremely slow to drain , obviously the cleaning staff dont check this enough .

We had a comfortable bed and our room overlooked a small patio area. We slept well and enjoyed a lovely breakfast

We ate in the restaurant for dinner and due to a wedding event felt that we were not a priority. My meal which was requested without olives arrived with olives so I had to fish them out and we had to ask where our drinks order was because it didn’t arrive.

We booked the moat house as we was having a canal cruise we was supposed to be taking our dogs which is why we booked And to be nearer the place we was going to We arrived Friday 22nd may 26 As the weather was going to be in the high 20s we decided to leave the dogs at home with kids Booking in was easy The room was really nice to say they let dogs in It was clean no smell of dogs and everything you needed The staff were very friendly and accommodating The bar area and outside seating is really nice We decided to have a meal which was very good too produce Waiting staff were polite and attended to all our needs We had a waiter that had his 1st night there think we was his 1st customers and he was very good All in all definitely recommend Would go back

My room was large and very clean. and I booked for an evening meal in the restaurant, the beef suet pudding was excellent and the rhubarb dessert was to die for :) . Breakfast was good. The staff throughout my short stay where very pleasant and chatty , with nothing being too much trouble. I would certainly recommend the Moat House.

There was nothing that I didn't like.
