Good hearty breakfast with plenty of choice

Air conditioning in the room would have been nice

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok, but cold most days. Location was good and oarking at th3 rear, if you were lucky to get in early enough, but public parking was also available right behind the hotel for free.

The bed was very uncomfortable with two mattresses pushed together but at different heights. Hand wash ran out after day two and was not replenished. Having been out fir the day, we came back to find our room door was ajar. When we entered, expecting to see room service, no-one was there, nothing had been done, no tea, coffee, milk etc, bins not emptied. When we approached reception, they confirmed room service had finished over two hours earlier. We did receive an apology and replacement tea and coffee, but thought it was awful our room had been left open without us being around.

Everything! An excellent hotel that caters for big groups and doesn't forget the individual travellers.

Seeing an elderly couple struggle with luggage. We did help, but reception should have been a bit more pro active. The lady did say she hadn't realised they were on the 2nd floor.

Breakfast was well cooked. Basic choices for other breakfast items but good quality and sufficient. For the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised. Our room although a little small had all that we required. Comfy bed, storage, tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. En-suite again, excellent value.

Tapas on menu was a little disappointing as was lack of choice for wine by the glass. Otherwise good.

Location and the staff made our dog welcome.

the location of the property was ideal for visiting , The Olympic restaurant was a step back in time of luxury Liner travel, A pleasure to eat there

The locks on the rooms were a bit worn an could do with replacement

Our room 214 needs some work, the bathroom floor tiles, the bath,taps and radiator need attention.

Location. Breakfast choices. Clean, modern bar area. Other parts the hotel was a bit shabby. Paintwork on doors and architrive throughout needed re painting. Around the bath in the room needed fresh sealant and grouting. It had charrm though and was what I expected of an old coaching inn of that age.
