Oxford Witney Hotel

Nice hotel, friendly staff and convenient for Oxford and the Cotswolds.

Didn't know had to book pool in advance and no slots left on arrival. room (34) next to room with washing machine in it turned on and noisy late at night. Waitress mask half off throughout. Otherwise fine.

Stayed a night while our bathroom was being renovated. Great service, decent sized room, comfy bed. Hotel could do with a bit of an update and more detailed cleaning (shower dial needed a toothbrush on it).

Hotel was clean and tidy although ‘tired’ in its carpets and furnishings. Staff polite and helpful.

I'm trying not to be too critical due to COVID but the accommodation is dated, bathroom was horrid and the food just wasn't acceptable. I stayed 2 nights and both nights were bad. Having said above the desk was polite and helpful

Condition of property has declined since last time I stayed there. The room are not well appointed, old TVs poor shower, general condition of room was poor, rooms were very noisy.

The hotel was nice, staff were friendly, sadly only one waiter in restaurant due to furloughed staff. This caused a delay in service. I stayed on the first floor and the room was nice, unfortunately on the corridor outside the rooms there was a strong smell of cannabis..

Understandable the leisure facilities were limited (covid restrictions) but couldn't use them as they were full. Breakfast lovely! Dinner ok, good to be fair but quite basic. Room comfy Thanks Katie

Nice hotel just on the outskirts of Witney - short 10 minute walk to this lovely Olde town with modern shops and restaurants.
