"Luigi is The Best!"

We stayed at the Gwen in order to celebrate our son‘s graduation. We were here for three nights . Luigi checked us in and was so friendly and personable. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The room, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and staff.

"Phenomenal Stay"

The service, room and restaurant/bar were everything phenomenal! Special shout-out to Davi, our server in the bar. Friendly & great service - thank you! (Also the bartenders & cooks - excellent food AND drinks!) We will definitely stay with you again. (And the location is excellent!)

"Great place for drinks"

Great place to meet for drinks. Amazing service from Judie up front to our waiter Davi. Can't wait for it to be a little warmer to enjoy the outdoor patio. We will be back

"Home away from Home in Chicago"

The location is phenomenal and the staff bends over backwards to make the stay exceptional. I really enjoy the character and charm of Chicago, enhanced by its epic architecture. The Gwen leverages that dynamic at its core. The extra personality and nurture from individuals such as Luigi and Russell have cemented The Gwen as my home away from home in Chicago and I can’t wait to get back.

"Wonderful Experience"

The Gwen is a beautiful hotel. It was beyond comfortable and the staff was very attentive. It is perfectly located on the Magnificent Mile and is attached to the Nordstrom’s. I have to give a shoutout to Luigi at the front desk he was super helpful and incredibly kind.

What a DELIGHTFUL experience! Judie greeted us so warmly and could not have been more attentive and lovely. She genuinely made our experience a 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back. Absolutely lovely experience! Rin (Catherine) our server and hostess (Judie) were so kind and helpful. Great HH deals, love the rooftop view and fires to keep ya warm when it’s still a bit cool. Only reason not 5 star is because the sauv blanc bottle we ordered was not very chilled when we received it. But on ice it was fine after a glass :) got charcuterie and Brussels…. Delicious appy vibe! Thank yewww!!

"Made to feel special thanks to Luigi"

My husband and I came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Immediately upon check-in, Luigi at the front desk greeted us with red carpet treatment. He upgraded us to a bigger room and gave us a voucher for a free breakfast (which was delicious!) He also gave us many restaurant recommendations and offered to make us a reservation. He was generous, helpful and so nice! We so appreciate his hospitality and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable and clean.
