"Good"

Very mediocre. Carpets stained room looking tired. Location good for motorway but disappointing overall. Restaurant food very ordinary.

"Poor Service and Dirty"

Very disappointed with visit, there was no record of our booking and were eventually offered a room that didn’t match the one we booked. The room was very tatty and dirty. Staff were unhelpful and not interested.

"Catch up"

Met up with some friends, was good clean and very nice. The only complaint would be you have to pay to park your car, which considering you are a guest is wrong...

"My stay"

Not bad at all. Now have to pay for parking which wasn’t advertised! £3 per 18 hours. Bathroom - extractor fan vibrates as is loose. Toilet seat wobbly . Bedroom - headboard attached to wall creaks when you have pillow on it. Next door room the same which stopped me sleeping for an hour. Nice swan towel when we arrived . Bed comfy . Room on whole ok.

"Good"

stayed here several times now , each time try to give them benefit of the doubt but this was the straw that broke the camels back, rooms are dark and dingy like a prison the bathrooms are so out dated its a joke, 3 out of 6 times I have stayed here the hair dryers have not worked and my stay on this occasion , I run a bath and before I managed to pop the plug in ACTUAL sewage and poo come up from the plug hole it was discusting

"Ok for the price but customer service a let down"

On the surface the hotel looks ok, but there are weaknesses in customer service. Check in was positive and the room cleanliness was fine. Leisure facilities were good. The problem was staffing, as only having 1 member of staff at the bar to serve around 50 customers in the area was not acceptable. This led to a lot of unhappy customers, especially when the beer pumps stopped working one by one, due to a possible CO2 malfunction. The staff member became very flustered, saying there was nothing else they could do, but help should have been provided by the management. Staff training was lacking, even not knowing what bar food was on offer by not understanding what was being asked for from the menu! Returning to the room after not wanting to rejoin the queue for another drink, the tv was not able to be used due to a missing the remote. However did manage to listen to the next door tv due to the nil soundproofing of having a room with interconnecting door! Didn’t need my alarm clock, as next door occupants were up at 6am! All these issues reported to reception on checkout and the saving grace of the whole stay was the reduction in the bill. The hotel is a bit tired round the edges and having stayed there previously, things are not getting better.

"Very good hotel"

Good room, good location and very good food. The staff were also very good, except for the bloke in the fitness centre, who asked me to use a second hand plastic cup for water, rather than fetch any new ones.

"No a/c"

The rooms had no air conditioning and were unbearably hot. Unfortunately once the window was opened the road noise from the Motorway made it difficult to sleep.
