Azambezi River Lodge

The location is perfect, and the staff were great.

The breakfast was slightly high compared to the norm of a 4 star rating.

Love the location on the river with the shuttle bus making it easy to get to town and the falls. Great facilities and restaurant. Seeing wildlife around the hotel grounds was a highlight. Would be happy to stay there in future if lucky enough to return some day.

From the very moment we arrived, the resort unfolded before us like a hidden gem. Yet, as stunning as the resort was, what truly defined our experience were the people. The staff offered a warm welcome that instantly made us feel at home. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the housekeeping crew, was unfailingly friendly and attentive. Their genuine smiles and cheerful greetings brightened our days and created an atmosphere of ease. What set this place apart was how the staff consistently went the extra mile to assist. The resident hippos and warthogs are an extra highlight.

A'Zambezi River Lodge was a perfect place to end our 24 day tour from Cape Town to Vic Falls. Very nice accomodation, good restaurant, lovely people ...

I think that this is my favorite hotel anywhere, the location by the river is beautiful and quiet. The staff are all friendly, helpful and have a seemingly never ending amount of happy, bouncy energy! We ate from the main dinner menu once, the buffet twice and had a few lunches by the pool - all the food was delicious, plus the Gin and tonics were fabulous! (Yes its a bit expensive but look at where you are!) The resident Cats, Warthogs & Hippos plus the staff and the river setting make this place incredible

I highly recommend aZambezi River lodge. It is a hidden treasure and a must experience. Perfect place to relax after a day at Victoria Falls. You miss out if you don't experience a Zambezi River Lodge.
