Enlux Hotel

Can see it’s used to be a 5-star hotel, but with its grand-looking yet erratic and clumsy (yes, you need someone to activate the sensor to get it moving if you are stuck) revolving door at the front entrance, you know it’s past its glory peak. Other points to note: 1. Check-in process was cold, no smile at all. We are a group of business people and we were hit by flight delays. This is the last thing we need to see. 2. Breakfast buffet spread is limited. The chefs even cannot get their own local dish Jianbing done right! I even overheard a staff complaining why guests wanted fried eggs to be fresh, and they cannot take the pre-fried ones that were lying there cold on a stacked plate. 3. My team needed a working shredder, the entire 49-stores hotel building only possess a mini-sized shredder which can only shred a quarter of A4 paper at a time! 4. You need hotel key card to go up to your floor fair enough, but you still need to tap your card twice to go to first 22nd floor to switch lift to 49th floor for your breakfast. Imagine the hassle if you forgot something at your room while having breakfast meeting halfway. 5. The shopping centre linked to the hotel is pathetically quiet selling overpriced luxury goods. The basement supermarket was pretty decent though I must say. That’s the only good thing we enjoyed. 6. TVs are playing poor-resolution overseas channels with limited choices. The local channels are in high res though if you like to watch them.

Always stay at this property as families are close by and it’s very handy .. great location as well.. enjoyed our stay even it was for just a night

Very good hotel, with big and clean rooms. Perfect for business trips with enough space for laptop and quite stable internet connection. Breakafst is good, with big choice of sweet and savory food. Buffet restaurant quite good, a la carte restaurant very good.

The first room we were given was a smoking room, even though we had asked for non-smoking. The receptionist was very apologetic and upgraded us to a suite free-of-charge. The suite and the views were absolutely excellent!! We had a lovely time here, even had a TV built into the bathroom mirror in case we were worried about missing the news. In the bar, the hotel general manager introduced himself, great guy! The breakfast in the revolving restaurant on the top floor made our holiday to China for us. Wonderful views, massive selection of foods from all around the world. We had no problem with people being able to speak English either at Reception or key guest areas (bar/restaurant).

우선 다른 호텔에 비해 비교적 방이 넓어서 좋았습니다. 하나 아쉬웠던 점은 함께 동행한 일행들은 중국어를 못했는데, 체크인 당시 방 업그레이드 이 것을 알아듣지 못하고 ok 해버린 상황이였고 체크아웃했을 때 +197인민폐를 더 받게되어 당황했었습니다. 하지만 직원들의 친절하고 자세한 설명 덕분에 그렇게 많이 기분 상하지는 않았습니다. 대체적으로 저는 매우 만족하였습니다. 이번 출장의 숙박 장소를 잘 선택 한 거 같습니다!!

Stayed one night. Staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to please us. Room was very spacious, bed perfect, good shower pressure, big bathroom and a hairdryer that wasn’t stuck to the wall or required you to keep a button pressed to make it work ( one of my pet hates )No complaints, will definitely stay again thank you Sofitel
