DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan

Nuestra estadía en el DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan fue muy buena. El hotel es cómodo, bien ubicado y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Destacamos la limpieza, la atención del personal y las zonas comunes, especialmente el área de piscina, que es perfecta para relajarse después de un día de turismo. Las habitaciones son cómodas y permiten descansar bien. La ubicación también es un plus, ya que permite moverse fácilmente hacia Condado y otros puntos de interés. En general, es una excelente opción si buscas un hotel confiable, cómodo y bien ubicado en San Juan. Amé las galletas calientes todo el tiempo!

No hubo nada que no me gustara

We stayed at the Double Tree for 1 night after our cruise. The hotel is in a great location between the port and airport. There is a 24 hour grocery store across the street. The hotel and rooms were updated, modern and very clean. The pool area had great amenities and is open 24 hours. The staff was incredible! Marcos, at the front desk, was able to check us in early, gave us great food recommendations and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Michael, in the valet area, was also appreciated. There was a misunderstanding with our taxi driver from the port to the hotel. He met our taxi driver and resolved our issue professionally. Highly recommend Double Tree in San Juan!

Lovely hotel, everything was super clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was only a frosted sliding door, so could have been uncomfortable if travelling with people don’t know well. William the valet was so helpful at getting taxi organised

William and Christian, the two valets on duty were courteous, professional and very friendly! Marcos at the front desk was also helpful! Clean room, decent bed and a nice pool, too.

This hotel is in a great location; however, be prepared for numerous additional fees. Parking comes at an extra cost ($25+ self park), and late checkout is also charged ($50+). There is no complimentary transportation to and from the airport, which was disappointing given the premium price point. One major concern was the delay in hot water—it took approximately 25 minutes for it to heat up for a shower, which is unacceptable. That said, I do want to recognize Kevin at the front desk, who was very pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping was also great, and the breakfast staff provided excellent service. However, breakfast is priced at $36, which feels excessive on top of already high room rates. Overall, while the location is a strong plus, the constant add-on fees make the stay feel overpriced. Additionally, my experience with front desk representative Thailiany was not helpful. Very passive.

Marcos at the front desk is a great asset to the company! He knows all of the local spots and recommendations. He is very friendly. Pablo at the restaurant is very friendly and helps you select a good meal or drink! He is very patient. Thanks to you both for our first experience in Puerto Rico!
