Carbon monoxide alarm went off at midnight we had to change rooms.

We had a room with a beautiful view over the gardens and fountain. It was lovely and quiet and the bed was comfy. The room didn’t have a mini fridge so we asked for one and one was brought to the room a short time later.

The room was VERY hot and stuffy with a small window that only partially opened meant there was no air flow. The radiator in the bathroom did not turn off so that added to the heat. There was areas of the room that were in need of a refurb, there was a big crack in the bath that was poorly filled, the window frame was rotten too and in need of a refurb.

Nice relaxing place always has been everytime I go.

Room was a little far away.

Lovely large hotel, with nice grounds and good facilities.

Rooms look a little tired in need of an update.

Spa facilities were brilliant, not many beds indoors and I’d worry going here in peak seasons.

Room was ok, I expected better for the price. Shower screen kept moving so water was going all over the floor, toilet seat was loose and the shower head was only tilting towards the wall. Bathroom was a little out dated, bedroom didn’t have much floor space. Spa lunch was very overpriced for heated microwave meals and I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant if we were to stay again.
