Bathroom had a problem with sink odour when arrived. It was quite bad and immediately noticeable upon entering the room. I tried running water through but sink did not drain properly. I had to open the window to try and clear the air. In fairness, I reported the problem at reception and went out for several hours and this was fixed upon my return. However, housekeeping must have noticed when cleaning the room beforehand that there was a problem? I couldn’t have stayed in the room until the odour was fixed.

I have stayed here many times when visiting family. It is a beautiful building in lush landscapes with tremendous views. It does feel relaxing and luxurious at the same time. The staff are very friendly and helpful and above all very professional. The rooms are very comfortable. I stayed in a garden view room this last time and it was perfect. The bathrooms are modern and very clean. I ate breakfast only here and not any other meals as I was meeting folks in Belfast but the breakfast was first rate too. I don't think you can go wrong with this hotel. It's just a consistent stalwart of comfort, peace and quiet, and quality. For me personally having access to a fitness center is important and this one is the best of any hotel that I can think of in Belfast. So if you want to roll out of your bed and onto a treadmill, then this is the place for you.

The grounds are stunning. Ample parking. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Lots of areas to sit and Lounge. Great added touches with tea and cookies as well as water and comfortable robes and slippers. Beds were so comfortable and spacious. I cannot recommend this beautiful estate enough.

Customer service at it's finest! We were planning a stay at this beautiful hotel but needed the assistance of management to resolve an issue. The care and attention given to us by Claire and Cormac was exemplary and from arrival at the hotel to leaving we experienced 5* customer service. We were given the utmost care and attention and enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave. Every staff member checks in with you and asks if there is anything you need. From porters to management they take time to ensure you are ok and help when needed. The setting is spectacular and our room was beautiful. We felt like VIP's. Se served us our afternoon tea, looking out over Belfast Lough, and had remembered us from our previous visit. He ensured my allergies were considered and spoke to the chef to ensure I didn't miss out. The food was 5* and beautifully presented. We loved chilling in all the beautiful lounges and rooms and felt we had been transported back in time with all the old artefacts, paintings, portraits and items around us. The Cultra Inn does amazing food and the new Bollinger garden for drinks was stunning. The grounds have so many pieces of beautiful art statues and features to look at. Don't hesitate to book if you would like to just go back in time and leave the stresses and worries of life behind you for a couple of days!

Beautiful comfortable beds and bedlinen. Clean bathrooms with gorgeous espa products.

We thought it was an expensive stay, to then have to add breakfast on at another £40. Bringing our stay to £300 a night. Expensive and breakfast not particularly worth it. Drinks throughout the evening were on the pricey side too.
